Im landing at Newcastle airport at 1500 hrs on the friday. Then getting my Zed of Pete. Surley i can get involved in the convoy LOL

Gotta be a wind up. Ive owned a golf gti mk2 and just cant believe it was quicker than the NA. Plus you get a way better road presence in the Zed. Then again i now have a TT Zed and would never go back to anything else. I must admit though the golf did feel nippy but that may have been somthing to do with my age at the time. Get a TT LOL

There are alot of us on here that were waiting to get our Zeds upto Peter to get our kits done but as the news said he has had to take up golf instead (aftermaking millions LOL). I think most of us want a friendly bodyshop with good coms(and half price sales ;) ). Maybe an open day will sort things out? Just a thought. Then again what do i know im a squaddie :cry:

Bud, take care. Is there any service history? Is it an import or uk. The reason i ask is that there are different things to look out for on either sort. i.e bodywork, mileage. Get talkin to some of the lads on here and they will give guidence (at a fee) LOL. Search the forum cus there are lots of answers flying around. Good Luck
