  1. Just got back from the Uk from visiting Mac, Chunk and MickeyB with a flying visit from Phil Apache (get it...........,flying !!). Had a lazy and eventfull few days first off a Chunks, then upto Mac's, with Chunk and Mickey. Events of the weekend first started off with the bagpipes on the first night at Macs as Chunk proceeded to fart alllllllllll night  with Mickey doing the background trumpets :nono:. Next day was followed up with the biggest breakfast i'd had in years nearly coming out via a loose spinkter in Macs car on the afternoon. Question from Mac: Johno, do you want to come and pick the kids up from school with me? Answer: Go on then, i'll come. Action taken......................pick up the kids but via the fookin A1 FFS  Right then, let me explain somthing. There are somethings in life you just dont do; like swim with sharks or make love to your sister etc and this car has to be included as one of them. I know people have fallen victim as they have said "yes" to travel in this red beast before. Now i must include myself to the list. Remember Mac lives up North so naturally it was wet. This believe it or not was a god send! As we travelled down the ramp of Scotch corner Services, Mac explained he couldn't boot it. I thought 'o,well'. Then it happend.............quarter throttle in third to fourth and the beast started to foooooookin snake like a viper from a jar. OOOPS, Mac said, correcting! By now we are on the straight and all hell has let loose. People plodding in their cars minding their own business are moved out of the way by not just the looks and speed but the fookin noise. Like a jet plane, i watched the dials flicker from 70 plus upwards to 145 in a matter of seconds and that was in forth!!! I wipe my fourhead (and arse), whilst trying to figure out why did i get in!!??? As i said it was wet and did not see the full Greddy power in 1st,2nd and third but 4th and 5th were enough!! :) . I have never experianced anything like this from any car. This car should have a national health warning in it to exclude anyone with a heart condition or loose spinkter from sitting in it as you may start to have hallucinations. I myself was nearlly put off speed by this fooking animal   Well done Mac Again, it was good to see all on my visit. See you soon lads  :duffer:
  2. :hyper: Well, im flying back for a few days today to see my old bud Mac :D . Im not even going home to see anyone. I think Mac said hes got no where for me to sleep so i have to sleep in his car in the garage FFS :headvswal . Now thats a shame..........................Not . Maybe i will manage to get around the UK in 3 days with a little help from the beast LOL :hyper: Hope to see others, fingers crossed!!!! :D :hyper:
  3. Driven mine this last few days. Managed to do 145mph and still going but some dopey German decides they wanna spoil the fun by getting in the way. Oh, well.......maybe next time. Im coming home today Paul :hyper:
  4. As above. I have fitted a Top hose hard pipe kit the other day and it wouldn't work. I wouldn't give a reading. So today i thoght to have a look and wonderd if it was an earthing problem. So i decided to take a wire from the pipe to body. This then gave me a reading. I thought great, thats the problem. :hyper: . So i fitted an earth to the sender. This then sent my reading to show full temp constantly(going straight to earth). Has anyone else had this problem. I have solved it at the moment by attaching my wire to body and having a crimp connection on the other, tucked in under the silicone piping :headvswal. Any ideas lads LOL ;)
  5. Thats weird LOL but fasinating!
  6. As said above, Happy new year everyone :hyper: from Germany!!! :D
  7. Thats what i was trying to explain bud. Things are just sensitive at the moment. Happy new year
  8. Jason, who is doing all the work on your car bud?? Looking good matey!!
  9. Ain't we all forgetting somthing here!? This car was made and designed in the early 90's and as with everything, things advance. The origonal price was around £36000 so people who bought it new must have thought of it as a Supercar if you are going by price, that is! At that time Porsches, Ferrari's etc were hovering around that price and they were classed a super. I think the only thing that let the car down then was the fact of the name badge. If the 300zx had of been designed by a more prestigious company it would have been alot more sucsessful. I do agree though the brakes are shat!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I love it and if you want looks come over to Germany and every fooker stares LOL :)
  10. The reason for the responce is that there has been a fatal crash of late concerning a 300 and as said above, wrong type, wrong time. The trend of forum skipping has increased and you get the odd knob that pops on and digs at the lads and their cars. Usually when somthing has gone wrong. Take the piss out of bad styling or getting ripped at the traffic lights etc but never crashes :nono: Any crash increases the loss of life. If the owner was a knob well there is the typical example of what happens but at other peoples cost. Bet the driver aint even insured FFS.
  11. Cheers guys :) Im very touched  . Soz i never got on yesterday just that things were so mad with me getting drunk, hitting the missus then getting locked up. They let me out on the night so i decided to do a runner to a prossy house and got humped allllllllllllllllllllllllllll night!!!!  What a Birthday :duffer: :duffer: :duffer: Did i shat!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! All i did was sit about and took my father-in-law to Rotterdam port to see him off after Christmas :headvswal . I managed to have one beer. Will have to have some when i come back to UK
  12. Im in UK from the 4th to the 7th. Hope Christmas went well for all
  13. Any ideas guys. Ive looked today in the fookin snow and noticed that there are two pumps for the jet washer. The problem is is that my front pump has stopped working? So what i have had to do is swap the pipes around so the rear wash jet works the front for the mo. Is there a fuse ? Ive checked the footwell but found no fuse blown there? :headvswal Is it common??
  14. RIP, so sad to see this happen anytime never mind Christmas. Please, please be carful everyone!!!!!!!!!!!
