  1. Buddy, have you looked at the calipers. The pistons somtimes sieze and can cause problems with the car pulling to one side. The vibrations though does sound wheel related.

  9. Just a quick question to do with interiors. Was wondering how hard it is to do yourself:) any ideas and pros n cons would be appreciated!!
  10. Sounds good that Joel. I had a big problem with the 6x9's out doing my front speakers so i could never balance them.
  11. Whats every one running in their cars?? Im setting up 2 X 10" woofers in the rear. But what else are others running. I want a balanced sound. I have a set of 6x9 at the rear already but they are coming out for the woofer set up. Do i do separate components for mid etc....and what do i put in the doors.I know its been asked before but i can't seem to get a good idea of whats best. Cheers all!!!
  12. When was the last time you checked the oil? You may of just not put the dip stick in right. I agree with all the above because i lost an engine due to blow bye in the crank case but also had other tell tail signs like bellowing smoke from the exhaust and the engine went lumpy. I would clean it up, give it a run then see the result. If nothing occurs, bonus but as old Zed said...always have funding for the unexpected with these cars;)
  13. Welcome buddy, hope you finda good un'.
  14. Stella bud that description reminds me of my wife PMSL
  15. Well informative as ever!!! Thanks Jeff!
  16. Oh, my fooking god Stella my man!!!!!:hyper: You hit the nail on the head!!! I remember looking at the dip stick b4 i left UK and then started to play about in the dark under petrol station light. I must of over filled it a little:headvswal so i took some out today and then took it out for a good spin and no smoke!!!:hyper: I hope it goes good over the next few days LOL but it's a zed:nelson: Thanks all, i can't believe i looked passed the obvious!!!:headvswal
  17. wasn't this proved on TopGear once..........im sure that tells all!!!!!:D:nana2:
  18. never thought of that. Come to think of it i topped it up the other day at my mums before coming over to germany. Fook me i will look at the dip stick and guess again LOL, They are about as helpful as a chochy fireplace!!!
  19. I got new valves n a few pipes. What other pipes could there be??;)
  20. yer thought that all so bud......but reading the other probs on the site its sounding like the tubs. If it was the stem seals at least i could do that without removing the engine LOL
  21. I will try......thanks for the comments. Its so strange because it only smokes on idle.:headvswal It wont smoke on normal driving. Just after it has sat on tick over for about 20-30 secs. The PCV valves have been done. I have been told there was some oil in the pipes etc....when work was done on it. Its not de catted but the turbos are the only thing thats not been looked at.
