Has anyone heard of Motion Power in Oldham?? These fookers are trying to rip me off with an engine. As im living in Germany i had to pay for a RAV 4 engine up front. Then 2 weeks later i still know it has not left their place. Im not sure even if they have one now FFS:gun_bandana: Im down 1500 quid and no engine. I have also now found alot of bad reviews and i know its going to be a credit card claim. Im fookin fumin!!!!:tank:

I doubt very much it would be to any turbo failure. You would know if the turbo/s were out because of lack of performance and the obvious smoke etc

so nothing would fit or just the discs won't. cheers

Hi all, i have been offered some brakes of an Evo 6. I know the calipers would fit with a braket but i have also been offered the 330mm discs. Would they fit?? cheers

yes bud it goes on top. I never noticed it fouling though until a yr later when its rubbed away the material.

Thing is the needle has sat at zero the last few times i drove it......when im doing 80mph LOL How would i find a dry joint?? Did you manage to find that pic of the light relay bud. I know where it is but how do you connect the wiring??

Hi all, my speedo is playing up. Its well strange. I have had problems before in the past with speed sensors but that was with my old auto box. This time the speedo doesn't move. Then by magic it will move to about 15/20 mph and if i tap the cluster it will drop. Then if i drive a bit harder it will sometimes rise. Thing is though my steering never goes stiff like the old sensor problems. Its just got a mind of its own FFS:hammer: any ideas?? do you think the converter has gone (or going) plus the needle never sits at 0 mph when stopped. its at 5mph...

Im not searching for the person...i haven't a clue who it is. we have all seen come and go. Just its a shame we have dreams and people seem to take them away. You never get remembered for what good you do, only the bad you do......shit sticks!!! I will never support anyone who takes money knowing their overheads are giving minus!!! There have been some big companies on here do the dump on people before some came onto the site. Sometimes i think that what sends the shivers through this site. At the end of the day this car was a 35 thousand pound car in the 90's and to this day it still needs to be treated like a specialist 'super car'(debate opening!!) There are not many now that can aspire to fixing the zed to a expert standard. Don't give it to the cow boys!!! But i still say hang the fooker who ripped you off bud!!!!!

Hi bud, the reason is because when you get posted to Germany you have to export your car of the UK database to the army (BFG) net. So the yr the car was imported into the Uk was used on re-registration by the Army. So the result was a W reg:thumbup: Not many have asked believe it or not LOL

Smell on start up is usually a small leak from the various fuel pipes around the plenum. I would tighten all the jubilee clips. I have in the past (now this sounds daft!!). Sprinkled talc on the pipes when the engine is cold. Then when on start up if there is a leak it will show....plus you will have a nice smelling engine bay LOL

Well, ive just been out with the wife in the Zed for the first time in 2 months. Fair weather zed:wink: I tell you something...the Germans haven't a clue when we pull up at the lights!!!:w00t: Fookin great.......i love this car!!!!

Sorry Jeff & all, im sorry i never made it to the meet. I traveled over to the UK via the channel tunnel. As you will be aware everything was fooked up because of breakdowns. It was a night mare. Started out to uk 1500 Friday and only got to uk 1500 Sat. Then had to get my son from Catterick from Tamworth on the Sunday to travel back for Monday. All i have done for days is drive in snow, rain, sleet and fookin fog. Fooked off is not the word LOL Thats why i wasnt there. SORRY!!!! Wheres the pics!!!
