  8. lol that will look far from subtle on your zed.
  9. u need two by the way :D
  10. Well then just throw the prop at the car and it will probably fit right in place :D
  11. Take off the section of exhaust thats in the way,, take off heat shield, undo 2 donut bearing bolts, undo the rear prop bolts that hold it onto diff by holding hand brake and undoing bolts, then release hand brake and spin it round to reach the other bolts then tighten and undo bolts and so on handbrake just stops the prop from turning while you crack off the bolts, then give prop a little tug and it should come straight off watch yourself coz its kinda heavy.
  12. and a spare diff :D cant be bothered with the junk......
  13. if ya lived closer we could do it here ah well. And yes my tester is fine thanks. I was getting a miss on no.6, think it turned out to be a sticky ring or trapped lifter, i sh1t my pants for a while.

  20. On the way home from the workshop i saw this funny looking bloke so i thought i share the laugh and take a pic... are those man ugg boots and is that REAL gold? check out the bowl cut. what a plum lol sorry couldnt resist. anyway The only downside was finding something to loop the pas pot back to the pump without chopping hoses and fiddling around, so i bought this along with my enegy bushings from Z1motorsports: I still have to get round to removing all the unused hicas pipes. They will be fine for now. I had previously fitted driftworks poly bushes in the rear hub but driftworks do not supply a bush to replace the lower shock bushing so i went ahead and bought the whole energy rear end kit which wasnt alot. To be honest i prefer the enegy bushings as they are slightly stiffer and come with that nice yucky sticky grease :D So i switched them all round. Spare bushings anyone? Energy bushings do require some force to press in as they are not a two piece bush like the driftworks type, it wasnt too much trouble, i put together something to sqeeze them in with, a long thick bolt with a nut and some different sized metal rods to press them in. To sqeeze the bush rods in i used a c clamp which worked lovely So i started to fit all the hub/brake shoes and bits back together. The driftworks kit was easy to assemble, it came with 2 strong brackets which screw into the hicas rack threads which mount the toe rods on each end with rose joints as shown in pics: Heres a pic of the outer joint where the old hicas ball joint used to be, energy poly bush has taken its place. There really is absolutely no play in the rear end now what so ever its solid and im very pleased with it. Cant wait to drive it for the first time once everything is sorted and the tracking is done etc etc
  21. Well i got to say this new driftworks hicas bypass kit has to be one of the BEST ways to remove the hicas: not only does it remove the rack but it also replaces the skinny track arms with BIG solid rods and rose joints, what im most happy about is having those old worn out leaky ball joints removed and replaced with nice solid poly bushes which can easily be serviced with new ones. They were easily pressed out in a proper press of course :D thanks to my mate who works for porsche in hatfield....:bow: Now this is what ya call a workshop: One of the driveshafts was siezed so that was also pressed out rather than mucking about with a puller/hammer etc
