  2. thats what i did last week :( ive just straightened the hicas inner rod seen as i just fitted it :( but still needs tracking just waiting on wishbone, and wheel to be repaired.
  3. arh thats good, if they are split il just do them too. cheers duffman....
  4. Just a quick one...... changing the engine mounts, is it an engine out job or jack up the engine remove old and insert the new one job?
  5. ok il give tha a go..... and isit just a case of jacking the engine up to remove the passenger engine mount or is it a bit more complex than that???? engine out job? and can you buy uprated ones that cost less also?
  6. yeah i think it does andy. either towards me or the other way. i just bought a nismo gearbox mount will fit that see what happens. How hard are the engine mounts to fit??? if i get under the bonnet the engine feels solid cant move it at all the whole car moves instead........
  7. NNNOOOOOOOOOOO i dont want it to be that :( the gearstisk feels like its moving???? what can i do to see what it is? could i jack up both rear wheels put it in gear and release clutch while someone looks underneath??
  8. I took my sisters car out for a spin with a mate without my sis or family knowing, before i had even passed my driving test, thinking i was the dogs nuts handbrake turns etc. "Just as my mate said ok thats enough lets just take it home now" just one more handbrake turn....... so yep you guest it, i walloped the front left wheel on a raised kurb and wrote the damn thing off, absolutley shitting my pants as to what my parents were goin to do to me. I ran home picked up a screw driver, plyers and some other hand tools, ran back to the car and ripped up the interior, smashed up the windows and made out it had been hot wired. went back home to bed. Couple hours later my parents woke me up with some bad news about the car being nicked and police were round..... to this day ive kept it a secret. :mac1: :mac1:
  9. Haha wise guy huh.... was getting the noise before that buddy. The noise i got when i hit the kurb was more of a, waaabaaammmm woooolooop slllaaaaammmmmm boooooooooooooooommmmmm smmmmmmmmmmmmaaasssshhhhh Kinda like them old batman cartoons.
  10. just post the most stupidest and horific ones.
  11. No its definatly not that, its a big thumpy thud you can really feel it through the whole car like the gearbox moving forward then back again on the limits of say a worn bush if you get my drift.
  12. i dont get any vibration, only below 1500 rpm then above that its sweet, i just get the clunk from behind on and off the throttle, ive bought a nismo gearbox mount hoping to cure the prob. im sure its to do with the drivechain as i can feel the gearstick moving back and forth on and off throttle, so im assuming something to do with wobbley gearbox, diff? something stiffer should make a difference, but i know il be getting more vibraton with the nismo but so be it :) as long as tht clunk goes.
  13. Haha theres a good collection of stupidity here but this post is by far finished haha
  14. hes got same steering wheel asme :)

  18. ok the leg is mine and the knee is my friends who had a similar accident, from that day on we never went out without leather and the full kit.
  19. it feels good to survive something like that, to return to the car next day with the salvage owners telling me how im brave to view the car thinking the driver was dead, you should of seen the look on his face when i said it was me. wouldnt wanna do it again tho. it was more painful when i stacked my motorbike, i got pics of that too if ya wanna see my leg.. bit gory.
  20. Na its not as bad as it looks, trust me go and look around the net there are far worse ones, i saw a pic a while back, a guy had been cut in two when a truck drove over his merc. they took the corpse out in two pieces and plomped it together backwards. nasty
  21. I was pushed and stuck forward my knees wer touching underneath the steering, my foot had bent the throttle and clutch, they had to cut the seat coz it was jammed forward, the door was sticking in my ribs and was real painful until they gave me the happy gas then i was in a world of my own...... went and saw the car next day and took a few bits i needed.
  22. Yeah who is that strapping young lad there?
  23. I know, and check out where the seat belt is.... lucky i WASNT wearing it id say.
