  1. Mate done be a spanner, just buy a cheap diesel estate and be done with it. no need to buy a skyline just to take out the rubbush... you mad?
  2. Not having much luck are we? yours reminds me of mine :( prob after prob..... you done a leak test recently? and you sure the tps is set properly?
  3. Rear mail seal is the main culprit for oily gearbox/driveshaft mine got real bad and there is even oil on the rear section of the exhaust. Has it a strong smell? just incase its gearbox oil? rear gearbox seal? yours a man/auto? you really dont wanna be driving round with no oil in your box :(
  4. So your saying you have it already and want it removed? You post random things sometimes lol, i suppose im not one to talk :D
  5. could be a number of things mate :( i cant remmember hearing a noise when you took me for a drive? you should hear mine makes loads of funny noises but then again all my bushings are hard. gearbox mount worn, causing the box to sag and possibly hitting the exhaust. differential bushings.... a cnut to change in situ. subframe bushings... yours looked ok but i didnt have a proper look. worn shaft rubber donut. I cant recall yours being noisy. OR play in diff like mine think they call it transmission back slash :( it knocks on and off throttle but i think mine had a little to do with engine flex as my offside engine mount is torn up and the engine was real unstable due to hesitation it was wobbling about etc. wheres the noise sound like its coming from? the rear, centre or front?
  6. so, what about diff/pas cooler? do i need them too?
  7. ah dear more things to add to my list....... dam japs and their non motorway roads etc
  8. So is there much reason to fit a bigger oil cooler? would it make a big difference to engine temp? and why did they make the jap spec smaller when its hotter there than in the uk?
  9. ahhh call of duty of course, i may have to purchase that. :D
  10. hahahahahahahhah I wonder what they are really saying, looks serious.
  11. whats cod4? is it a film?
  12. yep, youl have to take a look under there, if everything else is new and solid then the old worn out parts will be amplified and have unwanted flex resulting in unwanted wheel movement. thats why when you uprate one thing you may aswell do they rest.
  13. they are front ones, we are talking bout rear ones :D but i think they are called traction rods the rear ones not tension so my mistake.
  14. well then thats an even better deal,,, dam i really want it now, but i already got all me bits.. bit annoyed with the timing :(
  15. those kits are a deal, but youl still need a bush for the other side of the tension rod in the hub :(might as well get the hub bush for the camber arm too while your at it :) i got all four from driftworks at bout £4 each i think it was.
  16. i got a boat we could smuggle them in on?
  17. Hi chris I have these collars also. I think even with really bad bushings they still stiffen up, you can retighten them again to compress the bush some more. I think the bush would have to be really really worn for them not to make a difference. You might wanna check your hicas inners and outers, yes i know you have a hicas lock bar but these joints are still in use and if worn will give you a very funny floaty feeling at the rear. What about the rear tension arm bushings? are they in good condition? Bottom ball joints? shocks One more thing, If your wheels are toed out at the rear this would give a very twitchy feeling and make the car change direction very easily. Tracking? by the way When these cars are lowered the toe out is increased.
  18. ooooo its gunna kick off in here :D...... buy some and find out?
  19. These guys supplied my turbo rebuild kits. Even if these are a waste at least your islolating as much cold air as possible with a side mount........... and the price is the best part!!!!!!! I may be gievn these a go myself.... i can feel a GB coming soon :D
  20. Sounds about right for an na, a bit depressing for us owners:(
  21. 2 feet of excess loom to hide somewhere. ive read you can hide it under the battery somewhere.
  22. That is a very good price. Maybe i should have done this instead of rebuilding them myself. Too late now.
  23. i wish this had of popped up before i bought all my rear bits :( I may have even considered going for it if it wearnt for my engine. Such a good deal here. Your mad not to.
