The smaller twins are a bit weedy but once u get on a 1000 vtwin it all makes sense instant power even at 2000rpm and a dream to ride. And they sound amazing with an uprated exhaust.

Oil has probably seaped around in the bores, the intercooler pipes etc maybe just needs a clean out.

Like he said could be brake servo related if it feels the same even with engine on.

A little birdy told me eagle rods were used on a supra with 600bhp and they buckled?

Im thinking about fitting some eagle rods while the engine is out, but ive been told they dont offer as much over stock so wouldnt be worth my while.. Tomie rods on the other hand are the way forward but are way over my budget.

Whats the most power someone has seen with oem rods? Its rumoured not to go over the 450 mark? What are eagle rods capable of?

they come as u see them in the pic, i bought a set of 6 of each..... they will reduce value if you tell them. Add items to cart to calculate shipping costs. Wont be much, but well worth replacing the 15 year old wires i recon. It may be worth buying an extra injector connector to use incase the front water temp sensor or any other connector which may be broken as they are the same type connector.

You dont............. you use the money to fix the zed instead :D

Think about it.... Takes 5 times as long to get up to temp and in that time your engine will be wearing away all its componants till it gets up to a resonable running temp. Now if you jump in your car let it tick over for 10 secs and drive away, your engine will heat up quicker bringing oil to its proper working temp where it can protect the parts like it was designed to. The oil is very thick at start up and struggles to pass through to the top an around etc.
