  1. yeah thats what i used, but obviously in red.
  2. Bigger caliper, bigger pad, less heat soak and more disc usage. Look miles better also.
  3. Loads of prepping im afraid, i rubbed down the surface so it was flat, then i primed it then sprayed it with hammerite red. Took a few days. Shes all mine :) Ah bugger it doesnt matter. I can always buy another set of decals for £3 :) lets see how long they last once they get some heat into them.
  4. I was just looking at the gtr r35 specs and WOW it weighs 1700kg wtf thats heafty. 473bhp excellent transmission loads of fancy traction control and suspension stuff see's quarter mile at 11.6sec thats a second less than what i have done :( Il get there one day :)
  5. hurry up and get yoursfitted....... Drop your motor off at mine and il fit them for a drink ;)
  6. I have hemmerite on my plenum, my pas pot, my throttle cover my fuel filter clamp my fog ducts my caliper brackets my rear discs. Great stuff.
  7. Thanks Im so pleased with how the paint turned out, good ol hammerite :)
  8. Hang on, shouldnt the resistor be fitted through the negative feed? Just wondering coz in the ebay add, the diagram shows a resistor in the negative side.
  9. Woop Fitted with yellowstuff pads which are more than enough, rear abs was kicking in, in the rain the otherday. NEXT il need a brake bias valve, might be dangerous on the track to lock the rears lol. went from this: then this: to this: For those interested heres my rear brake ducting system, pretty basic but it works :)
  10. Tbh either way is fine, i think the first option sounds good, il give that ago :) Thanks Groover. I only need the resistor if i want the light on when the abs is on right? I have all ready purchases all the bits but thats very kind of you :) These are the ones i bought, seems they have a resistor already inplace or am i missing something here? http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=350228636320&ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT
  11. Ah, draw me a diagram :) Im guessing il have to wire one end of the led to a 12v ignition feed and the other end to the ground from the switch? ah il work it out im sure.
  12. Na i dont like those :( i like creating my own setup and i just love heavy duty chrome toggle switches :thumbup1:
  13. Im also going to install an led for my accusump switch and a switch/led for my innovate wideband gauge and sensor as the accusump seems to be conflicting with the wideband sensor giving off an error code on idle, strange.
  14. Yeah im aware of this and im going to remove the abs light in the dash, i was going to mention this above :) I want it to look neat, a nice green led next to the switch.
  15. surely the abs ecu will have a voltage wire i can run from so when im cutting power to the ecu im cutting power to the led also?? or just take one end of the led to a 12v igniton feed? Any chance of a cheap diagram?
  16. I want to install a switch to toggle between ABS being on and off this is simple enough but i want to install an LED next to the switch so know when its on or off, will also look smart :) The switch will prob run through an earth wire on the abs ecu or which everwire will work. How should i go about wiring an led to the switch, heres a diagram of how i think it should be wired im prob wrong but here goes anyway:
  17. with it turned on? you seem as though you wanted to write off? lol
  18. Well theres no chance my boss would wanna showdown lol. Not that kinda person. His aston has only done 500miles from new and i was talking to his personal driver, i dont think he has even driven his aston or any of his other vehicles. what a pussy.
  19. You know Ive managed a 12.6sec quarter mile BUT i never managed a descent second gear change in any of the runs, if i could get at least one smooth 1st to second gear change il knock at least half a second off my time i just know it.
  20. No problem getting the turbos to spool, they will spool instantly off the line and anyway i went for a test drive the other day and i get 18psi at 3500rpm woooooosh.
  21. Thing is with the zed its takes alot of skill to keep the power down. Aston has posh traction control and all sorts.
  22. Aston Type: V12 Displacement cu in (cc): 362 (5935) Power bhp (kW) at RPM: 450(331) / 6000 Torque lb-ft (Nm) at RPM: 420(570) / 5000 zed Type: V6 twin turbo Displacement cu in 3000cc Power bhp at RPM: 470 / 5600 Torque lb-ft at RPM: 465 / 5000
  23. Well id like to own both :) i can imagine getting bored of the aston after a while as there wouldnt be much room for mods and im always thinking of new ways to improve the zed its what i live for :)
