When I try footman james I can only get a 91' UK TT for £380, is yours a UK model or JDM? how did you get it so cheap?

Im not looking for boot space, I just prefer the option to cram someone in the back, Between me and my friends theres alot of us and only say 15-18cars between us so when we all decide to go out for a convoy or out in the summer its better to have that bit extra room. Thats always been the reason I never bought an MR2 turbo yet wanted one. If possible could someone please pm Dave@FJ from saying im (benyon) cant send PM's as im not a payed member but I would like a quote from him when possible, and whats the best way to contact him for the quote? would appreciate if anyone could do that for me.

I got a decent quote online & they wanted to me ring them, so I did and thats when they said "oh they shouldnt have quoted me as im under 28". thanks. @ Gio,Yowser & RichardSmith, thanks for the extra info. Im still liking the long wheelbase though I cant get into them shorty's at all, they just dont look right to me (no offense to SWB owners). Even though I could possibly afford a better version I would sacrafice "agility" for the looks of a LWB.

I dont own golfclubs or kids lol, I dont need any space and it sounds a SWB would be more suited for me, still perfer the looks of a LWB. Do the UK Z's come in SWB?

Oh really, I love the LWB version's. Im abit unsure about the SWB it looks to errr short.

Ah right, I assumed it would weigh less I just was wondering about and difference's. So is the LWB only better if you prefer looks and thats it?

I personally prefer the LWB Z, Why do people prefer the SWB model? Is it just down the personal preference?

EDIT: I wouldnt mind but half the reason you pay insurance is for if you hit a someone else's car or someones property, where as your own car comes back a right off (if its an old car anyway). Its like they are ripping you off for the car you drive however if something happens your insurance pays out for the other persons car and your own car gets written off, ive heard of a few examples where cars get written off for the slightest of damage.

Yeah that link shows my manchester postcode is a high crime zone, Kearsley in bolton is where my mum & dad live & like you said its not on the list. Im pretty sure it will be high crime zone again as thats what insurers have told me in the past.

Hey Tudor does Westhoughton come under a BL postcode? I keep getting told Bolton & manchester are very high crime zones.

We are all manchester lot im afraid, I tried Go compare and the cheapest on the list was just over £7000 thats on my current car that ive owned & insured for over 3 years. Sky insurance specialise/cater for the supra club members & it seems im one of the only members on there that they wont quote. Its crazy as when I first bought my car (age 23) I was paying a touch over £1000.

I tried heritage for a quote online, it came up with £1300 for my supra so I went to change the car to a 300zx and it came up saying I have to ring for a quote. So I ring them up about the supra quote first and they say my quote doesnt count and that they quote me £4000 on my current supra:mad2: I then tell her I want to change to a UK model 300zx and she says she cant insure me till im 28. Im 26 with only 3 points why wont companys insure me:mad2:

lol at that, looks like I will want the manual version then. Im gonna stick my car on pistonheads maybe tomorrow or something, I dont want to sell it but I have to because of insurance. Im looking at the s14's I like them & I like drifting but I the Z still looks better.

Thanks Quavey, Yeah from what you said the main difference is for insurance reasons & for me the UK model is the only option. I prefer the JDM badges (fairlady) and JDM style numberplates. Is it the Auto or manual that comes with the better cams and turbo?

On one arm:ohmy: (joke) Yeah will have to get a Z first. Im liking the rev counter type face on the watch it looks cool.

I dont think I could sacrifice my current watch lol, Would have to get a Tshirt maybe? or wear two watches haha.
