Bin givin this abit of thought ur wheels r 1/2 inch wider than mine with same offset which theoretically makes them 1/4 inch closer to the suspension, havin looked at standard front tyre size of 225/50/16 (think this is right) using a wheel calculator (http://www.nice-wheels.co.uk ) and your new tyre size it would appear that your overall tyre diameter is 23 mm larger hope this helps (think I've got the sums right)

what width rim and offset u got, I,m running 8jx19 35 offset 245/40/19 tyres onlly prob i get is they rub on the liners on full lock car was lowered when i bought it dunno how much by but can only just get my fingers btween the arch an the top of the tyre don't have any special parts fitted to the suspension jus bilsten shocks

:confused:Will these fit fr.8.5x19 45 offset and 9.5x19 35 offset i reckon the front should be 35 offset same as the 19's i'm replacing but the supplier reckons sticking a 5mm spacer behind the front wheels any thoughts please

go for an early tl thou awesome bike sound real nice with adecent set of cans, failing that the firestorm as good but not quite so wild IMO

Cheers guys like you say better the devil you know, got it ova the pit this mornin all I could see was a bit of rust on the outer cill near the sub frame mounts bout the size of a 2 pound coin failure sheet said excessive rust. Cars booked in with Zedworld for all the mot and advisory work to be done along with a 60 thousand mile service an a few other bits an pieces.:D

welding's usual place rear inner cills but gonna get the area around the struts done as well didn't fail on strut rust this year if i'm gonna do it will be everything including a couple of advisorys don't wanna buy another one an be in the same situation a couple of years down the line

well my Zed failed it's mot at the weekend looking at maybe a grand to get it thru (welding ,tyres,few bushes some brake pipes) was thinkin bout buying another one, had a look at a fresh '91 tt import and a '91 UK tt manual, But I'm thinking I'd rather spend the money on my own cos I no wots wrong with it the engine's a good un doesn't burn oil an never had any probs with the auto box,or do think I'm wrong.

Hi dan thanks for organizing a gr8t meet look 4wrd to the next one hopefully with the zed next time was good to meet everyone.

Tbh I normally wouldn't leave it outside but the workshop I keep it in is a bit full with 6 motorcycles, a trailer,couple of canoes and the kids quad and other junk gonna have to have a clearout in the spring.
