  6. This is my third year with them ... I am 39 and the premium didn't change since living in a sleepy village in East sussex to this 'Jungle' .. What a nightmare .. at least I'm not 21 or something ... could be worse
  7. bloody hell that's good ...
  8. The weird thing is if I didn't have the Zed on Classic Insurance and I sold my everyday car ... it would be around 275.00 fully comp with my Mr's as a named driver and for business use as well ... work that fooker out ...
  9. Bugger :headvswal wish I had the time to shop around ... Is that with fairly serious insurance related mods?
  10. Houghtons do classic insurance .. just had my renewal through .. not too bad .. £325 ish with limited mileage and all mods declared .. HTH
  11. We lost four fellas in the first week in Cross .. fookin PIRA
  12. Bugger  I guess the reason we do it is to actually keep the car that we love. Modding doesn't add much to the value .. it's a loser moneywise. We do it because we like it.
  13. Well said mate, just about sums it up. I joined for the experience, not as a career and I met some fookin brilliant fellas, had a great laugh and some very trying times. I did four years then buggered off, TBH it was only a matter of time until my number came up, and that is what made me leave. I guess I just like my limbs where they are supposed to be.
  14. good luck mate, you deserve some ... sure all will be cool.
  15. Well I used to live in T Wells and used a guy in Fordcombe for my Z. He was good and did reliable work. Just thought I would mention it as it really just is down the road. PM me if you want some more details. Chris
  16. That noise is probably the lifters ... My engine makes a similar noise when first started after the winter lay up. Soon goes, so don't worry. :)
  17. I met my future wife to be on ICQ about 5 years ago. Packed in my very well paid job, moved across the country and now work god knows how many hours a day running my own business. :headvswal I wouldn't be without her for the world though. :nana2:
  18. There is no advantage whatsoever from installing DV. You won't get an increase in BHP or torque. People install them as the stock recircs can make a 'goose honk' noise especially when the standard boost pressure has been increased. Some people fit them because they just want to, they like the noise as it vents to atmosphere.
  19. red zed and yellow callipers :nono: ;) Up to you of course bud :D

I suffered from this when I had my new alloys and tyres. The cause was tyre pressure not being correct, way to high. Once corrected, all was lovely once again, no more bouncing around.
  22. He has now put up a picture of the full engine bay ... looks like the same bay to me and it does have the other pipes ...
  23. It's up to Luke if he wants to trade on here .. not the club and not the members.
  24. LOL .. All depends on the direction you are looking from mate ;)
