windows come out of the factory with 5%tint(i think) light smoke is 30% so it's 35% total too dark:( not sure how the old bill look at it??

What is the legals on tinting the font windows, I was always under the impression that a light tint or even at a push a dark smoke would be ok. I asked in a shop and they said that none would be legal.

I like the wheels and side skirts. front and back is crap though

Been looking at getting the Ohlins off bigsss, but there aint much info on the set-up and repairing the broken shock. Does anyone have any advice about them please?? Here's a pic of the broken one http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=42186&d=1211902285 and heres a description of them. if you look in my rides you'll see a pic of the silver Zed they are on but it doesn't give a true representation of ride height as there is no engine in the car lol. I bought the car from a guy who lived close to me but i couldn't find who previously owned it as i had to apply for the V5, on the log book before me it was owned by someone in Dundee and thats it as far as UK owners go. I've had it since 2007 (imported 2005) and its sat under a car cover since i bought it and only moved a few months ago up to tttams. I've only had that one strut off so i can't remember if they are coilovers or not. I'll ask Tam to take the others off and post pics for you, as to it being repaired i was hoping it could as nothing has actually broken away but i can't figure out how the top plate should be attached but maybe when the other one is off it should shed some light.
