  1. Do you still have a spare block thats useable with pistons??
  2. Yes that would work!! :D direct live to the Battery!! forgot that one! ;)
  3. See if you can get to the bonnet catch from under the car using a tool long enough to reach it then charge the battery or jump it with another! that will give you some power to open the doors again!
  4. Well that make's a difference! ;) No point wasting money if its junk :( Mind you got another one for you to look at ;) anyone bought one of these from this Guy?? http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/JHS912-HEAD-SET-300ZX-3-0-24V-V6-TURBO-VG30DE-VG30DETT_W0QQitemZ260003241755QQihZ016QQcategoryZ10402QQssPageNameZWD1VQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

  6. For a start here's the Head set in case you need one at any time in the Future ;) http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/NISSAN-300ZX-TURBO-24v-V6-HEAD-GASKET-SET_W0QQitemZ130016276934QQihZ003QQcategoryZ10402QQtcZphotoQQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem
  7. You can help me do mine if you want :D there's not that much to it once the engine is out!! Out come the Degreaser and Engine Paint ;)
  8. I think there is a lot of competition out there at the moment...There's always someone who can do it cheaper!! As long as the jod is done correctly then thats good isn't it??
  9. Traders can always find good parts at cheaper prices and they normally get trade discount. Plus there is a head set at a buy it now price of £59 on EBay and it may not be Nissan genuine but most garages do not use Nissan Genuine parts anyway unless they have to!
  10. Can you re-use the Head bolts on these or are they Stretch Bolts??
  11. So i may need another Auto bellhousing as well! :(
  12. Did you see the Crack in the Gearbox bellhousing?? where the support bracket was pushed out by the force of the Conrod??
  13. LOL its now been converted to a Dry Sump with an extra vent for crank cooling :D
  14. Cheers Mate great help to know this!! :D
  15. Eh? so why do women have hands then?? because they certainly did not get them for work :D
  16. And the cradle is smashed up as well as a sump full of piston from number six. Not sure if i should take the Engine and box out together or just the engine on it's own?? On a lot of rear wheel drive sports car's it's just as easy to pull the Engine and box together!!
  17. You can see from one of the picture's though one of the Nuts are loose on the conrod!!! Good job i was not going flat out or any faster!!
  18. Turned it to see if it has seized ;) from the noise i heard it was shot anyway so it would not have made much difference and it started first time so i shut it off very Quickly !
  19. That was me before the Engine blew up :D
  20. I was in and around Clacket lane services on that day and time i was heading to Bromley!! Great weather wasn't it?? :D
