  1. thats amazing, i almost bought one the very same but higher mileage in broughty ferry a couple of years back, was gonna trade my DC5 Integra in towards it and i'll prob always kick myself for not going for it when i had the chance, funds just won't allow it anymore!, but amazing car mate and hope you enjoy every minute of it!
  2. youd get a very decent honda accord for that sort of money, can't beat the reliability of honda's, i've had LOTS of honda's and currently on my 2nd 03+ Accord, great cars to drive, not sure you'd find a newer one for your budget but if it's going to be in regular use then i'd reccomend even an older one providing it has been well maintained i doubt you'd have any issues with it
  3. shouldn't be any fitment issues as far as i kno, only difference i think is that jap ZX wheels were same width front and rear. where are UK models came with wider rear wheels
  4. might be worth laying on a couple coats of decent wheel wax before they end up like that again! i use Autoglym Alloy wheel seal, amazing stuff normally most brake dust just comes off with the hose but any stubborn bits just wipe away with a sponge!
  5. yeh i bought a set of wheels from him and he seemed a genuine guy, he does have alot on,family, daughter etc so hopefully he'll sort you guys out asap
  6. i like them, as far as mud flaps are concerned i'd def put them on my zed if i could find them, they're nicely shaped to the body(only my opinion) but i do agree they'd need to be painted.....anyone got any for sale?:D
  7. got mine today!, many thanks:)
  8. could maybe try camskill? they have some fairly well priced! bought a few sets from them for various cars i've owned
  9. thanks for the links and replies everyone! gonna have a bash tonight and hopefully get it sorted!
  10. thanks, according to this write up it says to wind the window fully down first though? http://www.300zx-twinturbo.com/tech/trim/doortrim.htm
  11. Hi folks hoping someone can help me here, as my cars currently off the road having an engine re-build after heater matrix fail and head gaskets going pop:(, i thought i'd strip and prep the body to paint it soon, but basically i've found out you can't remove the door cards with the windows up, my car is minus a dash and engine etc, so any ideas how to get my windows down? i'm assuming with so many things unplugged etc that there's a gap in the system as i've tried just hooking the battery up but they won't go down, i do hear a couple of clicks from where dash would be,assuming they're relays. if anyone can help it'd be appreciated! thanks Ryan
  12. Hi, i pm'd you a while ago regarding a membership pack, think the only thing i left out the information i sent you was my membership number as i looked through the list 2or 3 times and couldn't see it? if i need to send it again just let me kno:D cheers Ryan
  13. that is well nice!, not too sure about the bonnet tho....i guess it is following the drift style.,but i certainly wouldn't turn ownership of it down!:D
  14. nice one cheers for the reply! i figured it was that, have tried using 2nuts (ooh er) on the end of the stud but it just doesn't seem to wanna budge! are the replaceable if i chew the thread on it?
  15. top idler pulley, the one that sits onto the end of the inlet manifold, does anyone know how to get it off? in the tech manual it shows only was to remove inlet manifold is to remove this pulley and it's stud bolt. i can get the pulley off no bother but not sure how the stud bolt is secured as the manual doesn't cover that, so basically how do i get the bloody stud bolt out? lol any help appreciated cheers Ryan
  16. Rays Volk Group Av, exactly the same as my set, only mine are 4 stud 16's for a honda civic
  17. if they are genuine split rims, the nuts are visible from inside the wheel,it's not that hard to split them providing you have access to a battery or air powered impact gun, trying to remove them with the normal ratchet etc will most likely involve them snapping,a 10 or12mm(can't remember off top of my head) multi hex socket will fit on the outside face of the bolt with the impact gun, then either a spanner or socket on the rear of the bolts i have a set the exact same as those in the pics and they're volk racing, i've split them myself so i can paint the centre's and polish the rims up before building them back up hope this helps
  18. they're volk racing wheels, jap split rims so i reckon it'd be worth saving them! i'd prob go with a slightly off silver/grey metallic centre with polished rims, they suit the car pretty well so with a freshen up it'll look ace!
  19. it'a an s12 silvia i think? judging by the indicators it reminds me of my old one but mine was a hatch not a coupe
  20. most bodyshops i've heard of and including myself (did it on a mk5 escort) tend to weld the holes up and grind it flat before filling, any amount of fibreglass or filler will sag or crack..in my experience anyways, although i have heard if people glueing a penny to the back first but i reckon that sounds a bit rough!
  21. haha, i kno! but sometimes...when it's breezy or that;):D
  22. autoglym engine and machine cleaner is very good! it's water based also so doesn't sting your eyes etc like the normal stuff. all i did was sprayed it liberally, left to soak in for 5or so mins then used an old nail/tooth brush and painting brushes to agitate any heavy grime etc, once thats done basically just hose off and repeat till your happy with it's cleanliness. i taped up any connectors etc with food bags. hope this helps!
  23. could it possibly be a sticky starter solenoid which leaves the starter cog sticking in the flywheel as it's spinning? i only ask as my skyline had a similar noise but only on startup, it'd rattle and chatter for a few seconds until the cog moved back in,once i stripped it out and cleaned it after reading it was a common problem on R33's it was fine after that, they eem to get hellova dirty and built up with crud
  24. Nice one, thanks for that!
  25. Hi,looking to forward my details butcan't for the life of mr find my membership number! prob can't see for looking! can anyone help me out? thanks RyJay
