NZR any DVD writer gurus??
There are very few DVDs which could be written at that speed at the moment, and they will be more exensive than the average discs. There is not speed block on DVDs or CDs. Every time the disc is put in, a test is made to how fast it can acutally write at that speed. It is the quality of the DVD which determins what speed it can be written at. You may need a firmware update to actually make the speed too. So check out your manufacturers site to see if there any updates.

rough idle
could be damp in the connections.

Tick-tick-tick-tick-tick...
That is the strangest description I have heard. Could it be your injectors, they make a tapping sound. Or the lifters. they make a tapping sound too. What grade do you use? Try changing to a different grade.

Engine Pull at the Weekend - Again :S
Is it a good idea to get rid of the carbon canister?

Mascrat Manor - 13th December
Wow. What a turn out. I have never seen it that busy. I would guess there where close to 50 cars there. You struggled to get out of the car park. Good to see every one. Chunk, I saw you for a very short time. Very short as you wheeled passed the table I was on. (I was sat in front of AdamR) Good to see you Mike and his infamous Supra. Very large spread of cars there. It seemed to be a bit of a RX7 night more than anything. ;) Loads of Skylines, most none GTR.

Video Game Audio Recording Session - Non-Turbo 300zx Wanted
I be honest, when at the Thor RR, the NA cars did sound a lot more V6'y

300ZX, Turbo Model Number?
Manual are T2/T2.5 and autos are T2. Manuals have a larger exhaust wheel I think it is
-
Mits Lancer FQ-400
OK if we are taking into account specially done cars, I would like an Evo to do 260mph like the JUN ZX did.
-
FAO Andy Duff.
Andy, do you have the slow rev patch installed on your JTW setup? I thought it was jut for keeping the idle smooth, but I think I have now experienced the problem it causes. ;) Have you installed the patch or did you find another way round it?

Wiseco forged pistons ????
About £350-£400 I think it was in the end. There is no part number because they are Z1's own design spec. Wiseco off the shelf ones apparently made rattling sounds which people where not happy with. Z1 sent Wiseco a spec of piston which they thought would be better and Wiseco made them. It is probably easier and cheaper to get them from Z1 than from the UK.

Mits Lancer FQ-400
Its just been on Topgear. Its called the MR (I think) I actually saw one of these in Southport today.
-
99 spec headlamps
Ask on TT.net as a few have them there I have asked them and it basically boiled down to, They are better, but not £900/£1000 worth of better.
-
Mits Lancer FQ-400
So it cant go 183 mph? ;)
-
Mits Lancer FQ-400
but you are compairing 2 very different cars. I would like to see the Evo do over 180mph.
-
Mits Lancer FQ-400
we can make the 0-60 on our cars quicker if you change the gearing to suit.

Wiseco forged pistons ????
Yeah I got the ones from Z1 and they are wiseco. THe picture of the pistons in my sig are the wiseco pistons :D

how common are imprezas
See where I am going? Engine options? 3 litre Twinturbo 300bhp, 3 litre NA, 225bhp. Subaru, 1.6i, 1.8i, 2.0i, 2.0i 4WD, 2.0 Turbo 240bhp, 2.0 Turbo 260bhp, 2.0 Turbo 276bhp, 2.0 Turbo 330bhp, 8 different engine options from which I know off the top of my head. And some had options of 4 door, 5 door, estate, coupé.
-
how common are imprezas
There where 6 series of the 300ZX. You could not go to a Nissan garage in 1993 and buy a series 1 300ZX. You could have a 300ZX. At the moment you can buy 2.0 GX 4 Door, 2.0 GX Sport 4 Door, 2.0 GX 5 Door, 2.0 WRX 4 Door, 2.0 WRX 5 Door, 2.0 WRX 5 Door SL, Impreza WRX STi Type UK, and that is not including the many estate versions and many smaller engine versions you can also get in the past.

oooooooooo check this
I wanted at 99 spec one because they look so good, but I think I will be totally different and keep the stock one. ;) There is in fact a 2000 spec one which is slightly different again. Not much.
-
how common are imprezas
There is 1 version of the 300 ZX (Z32) There are loads of versions of the subaru, from the fast STi to the naff 1.6 and they all go on there.

Track Day - How much??
I agree, when Chris and I tried to get the Grimsby track day we only needed 25 or so cars and we had about 12 cars coming from the Z club too. Then a whole day of just Zs, with medical staff and for about £30 more a professional driver to drive with us teaching us how to drive.
