  1. ?? You've lost me Si! He could simply buy a US Zed (Zee ;) )
  2. It's available on BBC iPlayer if anyone missed it!
  3. No problem, glad to be able to help :D
  4. Thank you, now ex-directory :D Nice, simple, quick and FREE site/service to use if you don't want your mobile number being made available/ don't want them sending you texts to say someone is trying to get hold of you!
  5. OK, here you go, NOT expensive at all ..... http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/PC2-13-4-Nissan-300ZX-Almera-Primera-ISO-Lead_W0QQitemZ150347069747QQcmdZViewItemQQptZUK_Cars_Parts_Vehicles_Terminals_Cabling_ET?hash=item2301623933&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14&_trkparms=65%3A12%7C66%3A2%7C39%3A1%7C72%3A1683%7C240%3A1318%7C301%3A1%7C293%3A1%7C294%3A50
  6. Yes there is one available, should be able to order it from Halfruads, but will probably be expensive. But if you wanted to buy a set of universal ISO connectors (which should be a lot cheaper) and cut you OEM plug off I've attached a Word document that shows the colour codes for you. HTH Dave
  7. Well, as my sig currently says, I can't seem to make my mind up :D I've booked Eliza in for an MOT this coming Friday at our local MOT only station. I wonder how I'll end up going to work later that morning, 'Happy', 'Moderately Happy' or just 'Downright Depressed!' ;) I really don't want to let her go, but this really is the last chance  Anyway, chin-up :D as I know she'll fail, it just depends how badly ;)
  8. Totally agree with Si on the smooooooooooooooooth look  100% better looking than that horrid stonechip stuff! But don't agree with the JSpec Vs UK bumper, I love my 'modified' UK bumper ;)
  9. All our very very best to your good lady, yourself and to your daughter who's gona become 'Big Sis!' ;) :duffer: :duffer: Dave & Karen
  10. Thank you, I'll look into it :)
  11. Anything is worth putting on eBay............. yeah I'd say give it a try ;)
  12. Ian, Firstly thank you for you information, but in answer..... According to the manual, the UK standard radio DOES need a code, and it has 'CODE' written on it (obviously can't test it ;) ) >> http://www.300zx.co.uk/cgi-bin/manual.cgi?list=el&dir=&config=&refresh=&direction=forward&scale=0&cycle=off&slide=94&design=default&total=133 As for asking NISSAN for it, they want £40!!!!!!!! But I can buy the software off eBay for £2.99 and generate my own... but can't test that either! As for the rear amp, it was puerly the PM's with Scott that came to this conclusion, he said he'd sort it out. Although I wasn't aware you could use it without the amp, so far enough, although I don't have the plug coupler for this either! I wasn't aware that the UK ariel was the double plug, I thought it was just the JSpec ones, but I didn't say that that made him a bad person, it was just something else he said he'd sort for me. I have no problem with someone going on holiday mid sale, why should I, the holiday part wasn't a problem, but he did tell me that he'd sort it all before he went, his words not mine! At the end of the day, it's the principle, not the money, not the missing items, just the principle! And I'm sure if you'd been ignored for no reason at all, I'm sure you'd be a little pissed off as well! Whereas I appreciate your help, I don't believe I've been harsh on Scott, I think 6 weeks is long enough....... I'll now put this down to experience and simply write it off...... I won't say another word on the subject on the forum, not even "I told you so" if it happens again! If anyone does want to talk to me about this, then feel free to PM me ;) Dave
  13. And I'm in Grantham bud, and available at various times over the weekend ;)
  14. I've been here six years now and have seen this sort of thing before. This time it's a bit different though as he has come back on the forum and appoligised. Why has it happened in the first place? Personal issues? Can't be bothered? Large workload? Simply bitten off more than he can chew, but darn't admit it on here? Personally I no longer care, six weeks is too long in my opinion, he's had chance after chance to sort this out, FACT! My answer........ NO!
  15. Yeah, probably not ;) :nana2::hyper::eek::smash:
  16. Spotted driving through Melton Mowbray this morning, but different  White, Import, G Reg, but with a black swag line strip. So is it the same one and he's changed the strip, or are they starting to breed in melton? ;) Anyway, followed you all the way along Thorpe road, Norman Way then you went in the direction of Asfordby as I turned up Nottingham Road. Looks smart and clean, very nice
  17. Looking, and sounding, very good
  18. Scott, What's the problem? Why are you ignoring me? I've sent you two polite PM's simply requesting an update on what you said that you would do for me before you went on holiday..... you ignored one and not bothered to open the last one all together! Sorry but my patience has run out............ So this is the 'Head's-Up' for everyone else....... I bought the CD/Radio from Scott from this breaker, I also asked him if he could include a short length of the car side loom, as my wiring had been modified over the years, to which he said he would. I payed by PayPal, and the parcel arrived a few days later! What arrived was indeed the CD/Radio assembly complete with the bracket and the adaptor loom to power both units from the cars standard single plug. But no car side loom section, I also realised that it had the twin ariel socket, also there was no Radio Code..... so I PM'd Scott back and asked if he could supply these (I would 'adapt' the ariel plug to suit) I also asked if he could help with the rear amps, as I hadn't realised that the UK rears were amp'd as well. He PM'd back saying that he would have a look and get back to me, but couldn't supply the radio Code as he didn't have it. I left it a couple of days and enquired again, to which he said that it had been bad weather, and would be doing a lot of stripping out on the Saturday, as he was on holiday from the Sunday...... That's the last I've heard from Scott! At no point have I said I wanted anything for FREE, and was willing to come to an agreement over the extras, but NOTHING! I am now left with what is basically a pile of useless tin. No code, no loom, no amp's........... totally useless to me and £30 out of pocket (OK, not a lot of money, but it's the principle!) Personally Scott I really don't know what the problem is, you've been on the forum and simply not responded, but you want your For Sale ads unlocked! Sorry, but in my opinion you don't deserve to have the facility to be able to sell on here. Your total lack of respect for the members on here is utterly disgraceful!
  19. I've never really wanted to sell Eliza, but the way things are now I'll be breaking her up, which will be a real shame :( But, if all goes how I hope it will, then Eliza2 will be with me soon ;) And the spirit of Eliza will live on as I'll swap quite a few of the tasty items over  Oh, and I've been 'Told' that even if the new one comes with a private plate (which the hopeful one currently does) I've got to swap my own plate over ;)
  20. Just got around to seeing it with my lad. BRILL!!!!!!!! Yep very much liked the references to the original film. IMHO the 'boring' parts had to be there to tell the storyline properly, otherwise it wouldn't of made proper sense or you'd of felt cheated out of knowing how events came about! DFR = 9/10 ;)
  21. Here you go bud, this site should give you some advice.... http://www.rbz32.com/ And that car ad you've posted is from a well respected member on here!!
  22. I do beleive (in fact I know ;) ) that someone over here in the UK is in the process of sorting some of these in fibreglass already. :D Not my place to release details, but 'watch this space'
