  4. Hi guys :D Can anyone tell me what parts I'll require to fit a pair of turbos? Gaskets etc.... ie; which ones and how many? Thank you  Dave
  5. Thanks Si Well i already have the repair sections sorted and the brakes have been here a long time now so just the track rod ends to source and we can get her MOT'd And with Nick's kind offer above ( ) we can get the turbos changed over so it shouldn't be too long before she's back hopefully :D
  6. Well, she FAILED but that's exactly what I was expecting anyway, it was by how much that was the decision maker! Nothing I wasn’t expecting really :D Refusal Notice; Nearside rear track rod end ball joint Offside track rod end ball joint Offside sill excessive corrosion (bloody great hole in it!) Offside rear seat belt anchorage excessive corrosion Advisory Notice Both wipers are split Heavy oil leak from engine Dampness on power steering rack Slight play in steering rack Front brake pads low All brake discs corroded slightly On the whole not too bad really, most of which I already knew about and the rest are fairly minor, so she’ll be back on the road in the near future :D  :nana2:  :nana2:  :nana2:  :nana2:

Cheaper to insure, no bloody turbos to go wrong ;)..... ermmm... nope that's about it ;) Disadvantages ... Less power, uglier standard front bumper ;) no hunking great power boost :D sloooooowwwwwwwww

  20. Cheers Nick, the turbos will need changing if it is feasible to continue with her, so that's appreciated mate
  21. Looks tidy complete with aftermarket Zorst and wheels on and only 20,000 km's as well, nice find ;)
  22. The 'List' I was reading last night stated that certain models were romoved for a couple of reasons, either they had a problem, like a high percentage of thefts etc, or they were simply superseded by a later model, hence they were removed from the Thatchem approval list. My own model is on the removed list, but is still covered on insurance. So TBH, it's a confusing and stupid situation, how the hell can you tell what's what? Just because your model is replaced, it would then make yours removed from the list, are they trying to say that you should have your alarm/immobiliser replaced everytime a new model comes out?
