  1. I was sat having my tea last night while watching the BBC news and the top story was about Tiger Woods and his televised apology. TOP STORY!!!!!! WTF? Top story that was sooooo important that it placed a story about a young boy, killed by his own brother, further down the schedule! Just because he's a famous golfer who's been shagging around. Now I'll admit he's a very good golfer, and he shouldn't of cheated on his wife, but FFS who really cares that much? What is our world coming to when it's seen as far more important to talk about someone's infidelity than the murder of an innocent boy? I'm utterly disgusted!
  2. Yep you're right Dave, like.... http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=7374&highlight=timecop http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=14219&highlight=timecop http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=49501&highlight=timecop http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=49716&highlight=timecop http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=58393&highlight=timecop http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=84704&highlight=timecop http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=79957&highlight=timecop http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=89357&highlight=timecop .....and now this one ;)
  3. The Navan is a very nice one, none of that fake chromed plastic that's on the other ones available. And a piece of cake to fit, don't believe anyone who says that you have to cut the wires and re-solder them, because you don't!
  4. The title of this thread is a quote, NOT a question!! I know who Touché Turtle is. It was Madge in Benidorm who said "Who the frigs Touché Turtle?"
  5. Here..... http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=135246
  6. You don't have to cut and solder, as Smithy says just plug n play, but...... Consider that your car isnt new (which it isnt) so neither are the old connections that are currently connected to the old PTU. So they arnt going to make the best of contact with the new plug! Either way, if you want to solder info is here >> http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=128599&highlight=solder HTH
  7. Something that might resemble this by any chance........ This guy on eBay sell replacement panels, but they arn't cheap..... http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/300ZX-Z32-REAR-WHEEL-ARCH-SILL-REPAIRS_W0QQitemZ230426603090QQcmdZViewItemQQptZUK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM?hash=item35a67eee52 But get it repaird as it's a structural section and will fail the MOT. Also have a proper repair as the inner sill section could very easily be as bad (he also sells them) HTH
  8. Nice to see you're back Leigh, it's never the same around here without you :D And look, we've got new smilies....:punk::clap::thumbup::innocent:
  9. Well it's finally been looked at and the parts are on the way. The prognosis is......... The lefthand CV joint failed! Also the splined end of the drive shaft wasn't too good either, but he can't get hold of one of them, so he's 'fettled' it. He's also sorting the lower ball joint on the righthand side steering as well, as the boot has split and it's dryed out (it's making a squeeking noise) Total price will be £172 all in, so not too bad, but still money out of the Zed fund :( should be able to pick it up later this afternoon
  10. Last night sat and watched the whole of series one of Benidorm. Well tonight it's series two's turn :D This show has me in stitches all the time, it is so down to Earth and funny :lol::lol: Just thought I'd share that with you all ;)....... back to episode three now. Oh, and the title to this thread...... That's a classic quote from Madge! I think she has some of the best lines :D
  11. Have you contacted the person you bought them off and asked if he can help?
  12. That's a OEM 99 spec.... same as mine! :D
  13. Oh, can the weekend get any worse?! Hmmmmm, let me see......... YES! Looks like I'm no longer engaged now as well! (and that's also Zed related!) The only saving grace was that I went out with my mates last night and got ratted!! Which did mean that I wasn't up to getting out of bed today and doing the turbo's like I was supposed to.... bugger! But at least I had a great night out.
  14. Got the AA out to it, he's checked it all over and it's looking like it could be the diff! :( It's currently sat at a mechanics on the same business park that I work in, so it's close by and will be looked at properly on Monday. Hmmmm I wonder how much that's going to cost me?
  15. Arrrrrrr there you go, dicky Earth on the rear lights!
  16. The thing is the cost is starting to go up already, I've just had to join the AA so that I can have it recovered. I don't mind putting used parts in it, and there are some good guys over on the Rover 800 forum that know their stuff, so I've not a problem there, it's just that money is tight these days (as I'm sure it is for a lot of people) and soon we wont be having any more overtime here at work so that extra wont be available. So having to break into Eliza's money again will seriously delay having her back on the road, to such a degree that I don't think I'll ever get her back on the road, so I might as well let her go to a new home.
  17. Well at least your rear fogs arn't in the brake lights, so that should rule that out. As already said you'll have to do some searching around. I'm trying to rack my brains as to where it could be as well, but can't see any connection other than Earth from the front OEM fogs to the brake lights  :confused1:
  18. Do you have a rear fog conversion, and if so how and where?
  19. Not yet as I'm at work, but will be having the AA out to it later on..... Going to nick the works pool car in the meantime :D
  20. Although I appreciate the offer bud, it's not me. And if it was to 'Kill 2 birds...' I'd need a 4 seater anyway. Sorry
  21. To be honest Si, I've had enough mate! Every time I'm sorted some other 'presence' comes along and f***s things up for me. If someone came along and offered me a decent price for Eliza I'd sell her straight away complete with all the parts I've got to repair her, I really am that f****d off at the moment. So if anyone else is reading this and wants a 'Fixer-Upper' complete with all the parts required, then just give me a shout!
  22. Looks like I've just knacked the Rover!! Just driving to work and lost all drive in it! Managed to 'coast' into the next village and a lay-by, but now don't have any drive at all. Theres a wherring noise untill you put the clutch in, but nothing else. Not best pleased as it looks/sounds expensive, which means that the money from the zed fund will have to be diverted 'AGAIN' to sorting my daily driver out :cursing: Every bloody time I have some money together to sort Eliza out something f***ing goes wrong :censored:
  23. -----> onto -----> :wub: :asshole: :red_indian: :winkiss: :cowboy:
  24. Yeah it'll probably tell you that you're either infected (your PC, not yourself ;) ) or you have missing drivers (or both) of which they can sort out (for a fee!)..... Don't bother it's not worth it. Why do you think you need a PC scan?
