Thanks steve, the reason I was asking about re-locating it, is because i've read that it is better to do this. But on the pluging in bit, does this small loom plug into where the old PTU plugged in, ie the old manky green plugs???? TY

So I've finnaly got around to ordering a series II PTU.............. My question is, when I come to fit it, do I just plug the new harness into the car's loom, or is it a cut a solder job? And where would you recomend me to re-locate it? And will this affect the water temp sensor wireing? TIA :bow:

As the title says, I keep seeing them all around Leicester!!, and keep posting in the 'Was It You' section. But I'm not always in my Zed when I see them, so, if anyone see's a Dark green Ford Escort (N Reg) flashing at you and waving like a mad man, then it'll probably be me :D Normally feel a bit stupid doing that in the Escort, as the Zed driver will probably think..." Whats that tw@ waving at?" ;) :rofl: Normal route, is from Grantham to Melton, and then from Melton down to south side of Leicester, via Fosse Park area...... So Please wave back if you see me :D

When I got my Zed (Jap Spec) it had Yokohama 215(???) 16's on all round. In the dry, they were fine, but in the wet they let go very easily. So I changed them for the correct size (225) Toyo Proxies, and they haven't let go once yet, and I'm pushing it even more now ;). So what I'm trying to say, apart from the different width, there was a difference between the two different makes. Both, suposidley, top brands! And yes there was a decent amount of tread left on the old ones. The Toyo's seem to be wearing well at the mo, and I'm not saying that I'll defo go for another set when these wear out, but I'll see how well they perform between then and now.

Yet another Zed spotted in and around Leicester last night............... Black G Reg TT heading towards Broughton Astley last night (1st Sept) about 7(ish) from the B4114. I didn't flash as, i wasn't in my Zed, and i wasn't driving :D.................... I'm sure i recognised this one as well, maybe a member of the Darkside??? ;)

Have you got the rear fog conversion with the inner two brake lights? Also check if you have a voltage on the bulb holder of the other outer brake lamp. If not you'll have to do a little wire tracing, to see if you have a wire trapped. HTH

First of all, with that spoiler, you dont need a skin............... But saying that My old spoiler had that in fill panel, and I've never seen one in this country, I beleive it was fitted in Japan. Found these on Luke's site(ZCentre) And the finished article...... HTH

This may sound like a stupid question, but did you bounce it on BOTH sides, individually? Just a thought, as my rear suspension was only gone on the one side, so the bad bounce only showed up on the dud side, if that makes sense. Just a thought :rolleyes:

No/ 1----- Red TT Grantham area on Sunday (29th) I think this is the same one I saw the other week - Flashed at each other :dance: No/2 ----- Silver one heading towards fosse Park from the M1 Bank Holiday Monday, around lunch time.................... hell of a que!! No/ 3 ----- Red UK parked in fosse park carpark, outside FurnitureLand in the afternoon. Large zorsts, 300zx.co.uk sticker across the rear screen. Looked smart.

He has already stated that he drives an S2000, and was beat by this 300, so the owner would know if he was trying to race him. Also he knows the reg letter of the Zed, and IF was a copper, would already have the full reg................................. So what would be the point in coming on here to ask? And if he was a copper, what would be gained in asking anything on this forum? As nothing could be done about it............ No real names, no addresses, NO PROOF!! :D Anyway, WRumbled, welcome to the club. The official figures are.............. 280bhp (jap spec)(although some would say 300bhp), 155 mph, 0-60 5.4 (3Ltr, 24v, Twin Turbo)..... But like any other car, depends on the condition and mod level of the individual car, as I'm sure you're aware. But then I wouldn't know any of that, as I only drive upto 70 mph, where applicable. :tongue: HTH

That defo HAS rear seats, Otherwise that white 'Panel' would be a lot closer to the front seats. That one is a rear seat. The 3/4 panels are different. HTH

I love this place, I get such a warm cosy feeling when I come in ;) The way some of you guys have a go at each other is sooooooooooooooo funny :D (in a nice way I mean) The tech help, group buys, jokes section (;)) I must like it, as I'm here most days.............................. even when I'm supossed to be working ;)
