  1. UPDATE........ She is booked back into the bodyshop for 8th February. She'll have the rear bumper re-sprayed, to remove some scratches, the lights panel , to remove some flaky paint from a previous spray job, and to have the front bumper tinted so that it looks the correct shade of Cherry :D :hyper: :hyper: :hyper: This should be just in time ready for the 20th at Santa Pod :D
  2. 37 Same here :D Same here :D OLD????? :hurl: Oh! You Sick puppy!!!!! pmsl So I've been told ;)
  3. Nice to see you've managed to sort this out. And a nice looking SWB. For anyone who wants a simple photo editing programm, Adobe PhotoShop Album 2.0 is available FREE from Adobe's site, along with Adobe Reader 7.0 (new version) I've down loaded it (although I have PhotoShop 7) as it's a simple to use programm for little adjustments like photo re-sizing, getting rid of Red-Eye, etc... Available from http://www.adobe.com/products/acrobat/readstep2.html Just follow the instructions, and use Adobe Download Manager (otherwise you cant have Photoshop Album) HTH
  4. That really is a sad sight to see, no matter what colour it is  And there looks like there are still good bits left on there ;)

For a basic job, they are a 'plug-and-play' fitment. Saying that though I've mounted my ballast box (about 3" x 3" square) directly under each lamp unit, but others have mounted them in the engine bay, but for me this would make it too cramped so I opted for the neater out-of-the-way look :D You just put you new HID lamp in place (like fitting a normal bulb) and then connect the two wires from it to the ballast, then the two wires from that to your normal cars wiring loom plug. It's as simple as that. HTH
  6. Good, that's better
  7. I know what you mean, but I think you'll find that they are both established members already ;)
  8. How do you know I meant YOU?? There was another Neil who posted utter shite on here well before you turned up. So before you post insults STFU :D
  9. Oh dear! Oh Dear! Oh dear! Shouldn't you be at school at this time of day???? :D
  10. Oh dear!!!!!............................. Your names not Neil by any chance is it? :D;)
  11. When I did mine (auto) my dad gave me a hand and sugested that we brace a length of wood (soft, won't damage anything) against the pulley and, using a bar on your 27mm socket, belt it with a few good hits of a hammer/mallet and hay-presto!!! it worked :D (normal handed screw thread) HTH

Adding the earth wire to the headlamp is dirt cheap, in fact now I'm on HID I have my heat resisstant wires off the car, if you haven't already done it, PM me your address and I'll let you have both wires already crimpped up ready to go on. As for the oil coolers, I beleive that this problem only affected the earlier JDM cars. As for the engine bay room..... Crock-Of-Shite :D Again, same as the oil coolers earlier JDM cars were not undersealed, I beleive the later ones were.
  13.
  14. And about bloody time too ;) :D  Hope it fooking well works when I get it in :D :x: :nelson: :headvswal Well done Pete
  15. Funny this subject has come up :D I've just orded this case to replace my boring mundane eMachines one :D It's the Dracula Case S-313BSS Black Body - Silver And Chrome Front Only £21.14 (inc VAT & Delivery) Yes I realise it's a low end case, and the sound insulation is probably zero, but then I don't work with it all day, so it won't bother me :D
  16. Well done mate and congrates to your good lady and yourself. :duffer: :duffer: :duffer: :duffer:
  17. Mine are fitted, and I'm still to take it on a night time longer journey yet since the re-build. Craig, YES there is a box (ballast) I mounted mine directley under each light. As it comes with a double sided sticky pad, mine are stuck to the underside of each lamp unit, this way you take out the whole HID as a unit. HTH
  18. That is very sweet mate  And red aswell:D And what a nice choice in front bumper ;)
  19. Don't know if they are any good, but you can get a full set for £320 here

  21. :hurl: :hurl: That is just sooooooooooooooooooooo WRONG :xxx: Needs a bit of work :smash: :smash:
  22. Chavtastic!!!!!!!!!!
  23. Sorry Ivan, I didn't explain that bit well did I  Although I'd like to have LED's in the brake and indicators it'll end up being bulbs (Red and Orange). An EL panel wouldn't work (or be street legal). Went to see my locl electrical wholsellers, company called City Electrical Factors, only cost £14, not bad considering that there is enough for two complete sets of lights.
  24.
