Wish I'd had that this morning :D

Could this be down to the ECU? As in... If you disconnected the battery to re-set the ECU, then put the Octaine Booster in with a full tank it would then 'Learn' with the 'Boosted' fuel carectoristics(sp?) and run better. Whereas if you don't re-set the ECU, then it'll run as normal fuel! If you see what I mean?

What the hell were the county council thinking last night?? It was forcast that it would be very cold, frosty and icey, so why the hell didn't they send out the gritters (at least around Melton Mowbray - to - Lincolnshire border area anyway) As soon as I crossed over from Lincs to Leics frost and ice all over the road, NO GRIT at all!!!! :shock: My back end was all over the place, and also the steering wheel was twitching all the time as well (Never had that before :confused: ) Down to 40mph most of the time, bloody disgusting :rant: :rant: :rant: :rant:

Well I'm still going, and in the Zed. Even though the weather is fooking cold, it isnt going to stop me :D If the sun shines, like it did yesterday, and hopefully today, then it'll be a really good one, although a little chilly! ;) See you all there.

Well that shouldn't be a problem to solve, one way or the other. If you don't want them, dissregard them and plug the hole up. If you do want them, then take a few measurements and drill a hole!! :D

This place is really fantastic....... At times, and at others it really sucks. Well thats life. I'm sorry to say it, but I think some people need to grow up, learn how to read threads/posts, also learn how to write them properly as well. We come from different parts of the country, where we talk and say things in different ways, and most of the time this will translate directly into the way that we write posts, and that can caurse problems, especially when others take them the wrong way, either for the way they are written, or the way they read them. Also, I thought we were (mostly) here because of the 300 ZX, because we all enjoy them, have a passion for them, all in our own ways, and to our own tastes.??!! Steps down..............

Any good solid metal surface. If both sides of a bolt hole are internal, then give the top side a light sanding down to reveal clean metal, connect your earthing wire with a (suitable)crimp, bolt tight, and then give it a coating of either rust treatment, laquer or paint. If the other side goes outside the car, then pay particular attention to the outside to stop it from rusting. Job Done. HTH

Thanks guys :D The place I take it to is all computerised now (well he's got one in the office ;) ) so the MOT is automatically sent via the net. He's put the price upto £44 :shock: and if it had needed a retest, he said that he would have to have charged full price!! :shock: This is because they would have to do a full test again, as it's on computer, at a minimum of 30 minutes!! And due to the extra PC work he's now lost the time for six MOTs per day! Thats progress ;) But I do agree that it should be centralised and sorted properly.
