1. My first daughter was also born at 29 weeks and by c-section. She was also in SCBU for a month in Nottingham Queens Med, which is 30+ miles away from where I live. She was taken over there by ambulance while my (now Ex) wife had to stay in hospital here in Grantham, so all three of us were in different places. I'm not trying to make it sound worse than what you are going through at the moment, all I'm trying to say is that you cope, you sort it out, you do what is necessary, you run around like a headless chicken for a few days..... but you'll look back on all of this time with pride, pride of what your wife has done, and pride in you new child. Congratulations to both yourself and your wife bud, and welcome into the world to your new baby :duffer:
2. Well the strut brace will be fine, the PTU is spot-on, the console has an AndyP reworked clock so will be fine, but the last time the illuminated centre panel was turned on it didn't work!!! How do I know all this? Because all of those and most of his other stuff is from Eliza!! Including those 'Fake' 99 spec rear lights. It looks like he's doing a swap over of stuff from his other Zed... well I hope that's what he's doing, as it would be nice to see her back on the road again, but I've not heard anything from him (on here) since he bought her from me.
3. Oh dear, oh dear, oh dear!!!!! :( If anyone wants to know anything, give me a shout!
4. Just for info...... Virgin Media was bought out by Sky earlier in the year. Subsequent to that Channel One (formally Virgin One) and Bravo will be going soon (not sure when though). Channel-wise I'm not sure what you can't get from one to the other, but with the buy-out I doubt there will be much, if not any, difference soon anyway. Of course reception is not affected via cable, although that is down to 'scrotes' messing with the cable boxes in the street, and some spotty tw@ pressing the wrong button back at the office where it comes from. And for anyone who might be considering Virgin Mobile, well they use the T-Mobile network, so if you can get good reception from that then you're OK with Virgin. Receiving 50Mb broadband is only as good as where you're receiving it from. If the website you're trying to obtain is not on as higher system then it'll only come at a lower rate. Saying that though, most of the main web sites will be on a decent connection anyway.
5. I thought that is what the title of this thread was referring to!!!!! :whistling:
6. Dave Harrison likes this........ smilie face, lol
7. Nope, that's not going to sort the Dim-Dip system, that mod is for having your Dipped beam stay on when you press for Full beam.
8. That'll be the Dim-Dip system doing that. The wiring schematic is in the on-line manual if you want to have a look to see if you fancy removing it. Here... http://www.300zx.co.uk/cgi-bin/manual.cgi?list=el&dir=&config=&refresh=&direction=forward&scale=0&cycle=off&slide=46&design=default&total=133 HTH Dave
9. You are indeed right Dave :D
10. I play against my lad on split screen (not on-line) and I've seen him play against others on-line as well and it is amazing how these youngsters play. The thing you have to remember is... 1) They are YOUNGER than you. 2) They are FASTER than you. And 3) they are BETTER than you!! Only kidding bud, thing is they are playing all hours they can, which is far more than you or I can. When playing against my lad I take great pleasure in beating him!!! :D But alas it isn't all that often ;)
11. The Embed code has changed so no longer works how it was originally intended. I've posted a How-To for the Embed code in "Z or Club Pics/Video/Media" & "Jokes plus video and games links" sections. Anyway I've sorted the link above for you now :D Dave
12. Best of luck bud. Hope all turns out well for you. Dave
13. Well it looks OK, but I would be worried about the gearbox. You would have a few choices there.... 1) Fit a new box = Cost prohibitive. 2) Fit a Recon box = Could also be cost prohibitive. 3) Fit a used box = Cheaper, but you don't know the history, and you'd have to find someone cheap to fit it (Unless you're handy in that way) Personally I'd say forget it, as you don't know how the gearbox is going to affect it once you've parted with your hard-earned. It may be perfectly OK, but you never know. If it's the ZS you like, I'd look at putting some more to what you have a look elsewhere. Dave
14. This one... http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=300472398134&ru=http%3A%2F%2Fshop.ebay.co.uk%3A80%2F%3F_from%3DR40%26_trksid%3Dp3984.m570.l1313%26_nkw%3D300472398134%26_sacat%3DSee-All-Categories%26_fvi%3D1&_rdc=1 That's not a massive spoiler, that's quite subtle, the one on Autotrader I posted above is a massive spoiler :D
15. Have a look through the Rover 800 section, or the Rover 75 as they both had the KV6 engine in them. I take it the one you're looking at is something like this... http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/advert/201038368886836/sort/priceasc/usedcars/model/zs/make/mg/postcode/ng316hy/radius/1500/page/1?logcode=p
16. Check out the owners club........ http://forums.mg-rover.org/index.php Loads of info on there. HTH Dave
17. Parts = Some problems, and will be getting more and more difficult to obtain. KV6 Engine = Loads of overheating problems! Whether they are the older ones or the later type, they still overheat, unless the head has had the upgraded head gasket fitted, but that's no guarantee.
18. Well done to both of you bud  So you're going to be busy then making things...... Fibreglass cot, fibreglass car seat, fibreglass pushchair!!! etc....... :D
19. Try a Error Code check and see if anything comes up... This is how to do it.... http://www.ttzd.com/tech/diagnostictech.html HTH Dave
20. Just heard this on the news. Loved watching his films when I was a kid. A genius of comic timing. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/entertainment-arts-11473192 RIP.
21. Yep, same system Left to Right, just might be in different places (maybe?)
22. If you use the original Nissan Blue relay you can, if you want to, fit it in the spare space within the engine bay relay box! That FAQ has been translated from Japanese, as that is where it originated from, I assume that the original author preferred to keep things OEM.
23. I hope you day is absolutely perfect for you. All the best and have a good night!!! Oh and a little song for you................. ;)
24. That Beamer was sweet though!! ;) She seemed to run nicely enough. The interior looks a lot nicer than the Cherokee's I've driven before!
25. It's looking great bud, can't wait to see the finished article :D
