  1. Water temp sender............ Either an adaptor pipe from the top rad pipe, or a bose welded onto the top pipe off the front of the block. Then screw the sensor into that, job done.
  2. Your targa's are leaking! So you've set up a guttering system, this is for the 'take-away' part!! :D
  3. It has a rubber seal on the mating face against the block. The plate is then tightened up against the block using the bolt, then you hand tighten the oil filter to this plate, again with a rubber seal. As long as everything is tight, and the rubbers have a smear of oil on them, how can it leak? The problem comes with bad installation and maintenance. At the end of the day, if the job isn't done properly, it'll **** up!!
  4. Also hi and welcome :D The Falcon site is a very good source of information, if you can understand the translated version ;) It makes for some very interesting, and funny reading at times (the translation isn't very good :D ) I hope you enjoy your time here, and will be an active member.
  5. Do the job properly, buy a sandwich plate, they're loads available on eBay, and a reasonable price.
  6. Certainly check for chaifing (sp?) in the back of the pod, but as air-con and wipers have separate looms, it would be a hell of a coincidence, but always worth checking though. Again not impossible, but doubtful unless your radio isn't working also?!? As this is controlled via the ACC circuit of the barrel. But again, not to be dismissed altogether though.
  7. I've taken a look at the circuits, and the only common thing between them is the main Fuse/Relay box in the engine compartment. I'd suggest taking the whole unit out and checking for any loose, broken or 'gunged-up' connectors for the fuse side. I would of said check the wiring in the side pod, but with your clock not working as well, then that rules that out. there are no other similarities between the affected circuits. HTH Dave
  8. Steve, I see in the e-mail from John, he quotes speeds upto 100mph! I was under the impression that this was to be a parade, ala like the Skyline one last year? I know that a lot of people will back out if this sort of speed is to be tried for, me included. That many cars on the circuit, most of which are total novices, trying for upto 100mph is an accident just waiting to happen! I'm sure it must be a mistake?! Incidentally, being a slow parade, would we all require helmets? Dave
  9. That cat looks like it's been out that door before, maybe the bikes there to stop it opening the door!! These cats are clever you know, did you see the Disney film 'The Cat From Outer Space'? It could talk!!
  10. Do a google search for Kreamed, then you'll see what I mean ;)
  11. It came from eBay bud, just type reverse camera into the eBay search box and they'll all come up, loads and loads of them :D Incidentally mine is a night vision one, as that's what I'd want it for, just a bit of extra reassurance in the dark (it's infra-red) You can also find just normal daylight versions as well. So if it's for day as well as night, make sure, in the spec on the auction, that it states that the LUX is as low a 0, nothing higher, or it'll be useless in the dark! HTH Dave
  12. Dials... yes I know they only say 180 kph, but mine'll say 300 kph :D Right, I could be wrong on the DVD player side, but defo a screen, it was for the N'FIT sat-nav system.. Close up...
  13. I don't know what you see in her  But I know what I'd like to see in her!!!
  14. I'll post up pics when it's all in place, as I've got the chrome rings as well :D Incidentally, when lite up at night, all dials (dash and pillar) will match with rear red illumination (ala 99 spec dials) Little known fact, did you know that the 99 spec came with an option for a dvd player? Ok, it never came with pillar pod gauges or a rear camera, but I can live with that ;)
  15. That looks a really cool film. I've loved everything that Robert Rodreguez has done
  16. Here's another one (yes I know this one is on current release) that I want to take the kids to see, before we go down to London museum visiting in three weeks time :D Night At The Museum >> Trailer >> http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0477347/trailers-screenplay-E28376-10-2
  17. As title, just a selection that looked good to me ;)..... SUNSHINE >> Trailer>> http://www.worstpreviews.com/review.php?id=30 Pan's Labyrinth >> Trailer >> http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0457430/trailers-screenplay-E28892-10-2 300 >> Trailer >> http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0416449/trailers Grindhouse (Rodregez & Tarantino!!!) Trailer >> http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0462322/trailers Hot Fuzz >> Trailer >> http://www.worstpreviews.com/trailer.php?id=503&item=0 Fantastic Four - Rise Of The Silver Surfer >> Trailer >> http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0486576/trailers-screenplay-E31006-10-2 So there you have it, and why not? My personal top tips for the coming few months. And I hope you like them :D
  18. But what none of those pictures really show is what they look like at night. I've not seen any of those units myself, but I can imagine what the Sony looks like, as it's very similar to the unit I've just sold. Which has the circular parts mainly in red with the centre in blue. Then when you have the screen closed it's predominately blue (if that makes any sense) So I'd imagine that the CDX-M800 would be along the same lines.
  19. I know, tell me about it
  20. Is she in to older men then? ;)
  21. I first saw the small image of the web page, and thought "They've got a picture of a pearl necklace on the main page!!" But it turned out to be just a circle of pearls instead
  22. Yeah, she looks lovely! ;) She looks ready for romantic evenings in, or nice walks in the country ;)
