Oil level on dials
It'll be reading in the same arc, but with differant figures. As long as the needle is in about the same place as in the buyers guide, then it should be fine (especially as the standard guage isnt all that accurate in the first place)

removal of pins on dials
That is a very good point, a lot of people say you really shouldn't remove the needles, unless you really need to (I did have to though) I can't post up the instructions on removing the needles at the moment though, as I can't find them, and wouldn't want to guess at it and forget something. Graham, have a word with Mike (MJP) unless someone has a knackerd clock set that they don't mind taking the pins out of.

removal of pins on dials
Just done this the other week...... To remove the stop pins, simply grip them (not too tightly) with a pair of pliers and pull upwards. As for the needles, if you need to remove them, use a flat bladed screwdriver and place this under the centre of each needle, and twist it slowly so as to push the needle upwards. Take note of the positions of the water temp and fuel needles, and replace in the same places...... Before I go into loads of detail regarding the other needles, let me know if you need it, and I'll gladly type it up ;) Dave

KPH speedo
I cant say for sure, but I'll tell you what mine does, if that helps. Mine is a JSpec import. It would of come with a kph speedo and odometer also reading in kilometres. these two units are separate. The kph speedo has been removed and a UK mph speedo has been installed. There are two sets of tapings on the circuit sheet on the reverse of the clock assembly, depending whether you have a mph or kph speedo, depends where it bolts to thus different reading (I believe anyway) So fitting the mph speedo now allows it to show speed in mph, BUT the odometer still counts in kph! (I know, I've checked it) The only other way would be to change the whole clock assembly over, but then you'll loose you mileage. You could alter the odometer to the correct reading (after converting you old reading from kph to mph) but that's technically illegal!

KPH speedo
320kph = 198 mph, so I can assure you straight away you WONT find a dial face to replace yours! If you really need to change it, it'll have to be the full speedo unit from a UK car. Yours is a custom one manufacture by Veilside. If it is indeed genuine, there are a lot of fake face plates out there, it may not even read accurately if it's just a fake plate put on a standard speedo (not trying to suggest that it is, just a possibility) You would have to have it put on a Dyno to be sure. So, as I see it, the only option, if you want mph, would be to replace the whole speedo with a UK unit.

KPH speedo
Nothing that I'm aware of, but buying a UK speedo in MPH and then fiting it in place of your kph one (Piece of cake to fit, 1/2 hour tops) would be far more proffesional looking. ie; just changing over the speedo's and not the whole cloack assembly, that way you keep the mileage reading (well Kilometers actually)

CF dash kit
Trying to keep on topic as much as possible ;) I think your chances of obtaining the remaining parts are slim to none-existant, unless the seller can sort you out. Like I said, this is the basic kit, there is a more complicated version (See Bee Gee  as his is the same as mine, only the full version) And to answer the other bit, it is from eBay, imported from the US especially for the right hand driver Zed, about £70ish.

CF dash kit
Firstly, sounds like you've been sold a US left hand drive version! Secondly, this is what should come in a basic kit........... HTH Dave

How much should I expect to pay?
mad4purple, although this link will give you what was the differances for the year of the Zed you've seen, it won't tell you wether it's an S version, as the S was only an addition to the range, and not the only model for that year. HTH Dave (Not trying to knock Tims link in any way  ;) )

How much should I expect to pay?
Possibly, although I'm not sure what made the 1995 S version any different, apart from maybe the seats! Are they standard Z seats or are they Recaro ones?
