on my car i have an issue where after filling up and closing the fuel cap, i tend to get a petrol trail all over the bodywork....i have a feeling the seal aint tight enough around the fuel cap but dont know how to check

Stupid turbos......who hates them....seems like everyones having trouble with them

im usually about during fridays and saturdays in the evening but i wont be driving her so much till i figure the issue i have with her Fas

Dont worry mate, we've all been there....my daily driver is a almera gti....the amount of times iv regretted being in that when someone in a performance car is driving around......or a fellow Zed owner......funny thing is i hardly see any Zeds when im in mine but in the Almera i see them all the time

The only thing i dont want is a cloud of smoke behind me when im driving around.....thats a tad embarassing thanks for the advice Fas

Mark this could be the cause as i did slightly overfill the oil but not by alot....the weird thing is it didnt smoke first thing in the morning when i started her but literally five minutes later after resting at the petrol station forecourt.........ill ask Andy about the PCV hoses......Andy did mention that he sow a little blue smoke when he had it last on start up but he did say that it could have been due to the fact it was sitting around but it did seem to clear up need to look into this further.....i cant risk not having the car for the summer......im hoping its not the turbos as id prefer not to spend the money but we shall have to see thanks for all the other advice guys Fas

I would never sell the Zed as i dont think iv trully enjoyed it as much as its always having work done but iv promised that this summer will be different and it will be taken everywhere........though i have to admit iv been looking at TVR Tuscan pictures and they are nice but i dont think they are an upgrade......maybe as in the fact that theyre newer but no way an upgrade............ Also LOL to the T-bars.......... Fas

I dont want the engine coming out as im worried the bodykit may cause complications and the paint job aint cheap......and bloody hell that is alot of money......iv thrown money at the car and the turbos are pretty much the only thing that hasint been touched Regarding my car....it seems im getting all sorts of offers for it but i cant see myself selling her......iv spent thousands to get her like this and shes unique but thanks Fas

As the weather was decent today i decided to take my car into work which is in central london........ Enjoyed the weather as i had the Tbars off and then parked just off oxford street..... Came back to the car and found this attached to the windscreen......i have to admit it put a smile to my face but is a TVR really an upgrade to a Zed? Gotta admit it did tempt me for a sec but i dont think i could ever part with my car, we've been through to much Fas

Hi Guys Just wanted some information and some help Started the car up this morning and evrything was fine......drove for about 5 minutes to the nearest petrol station and filled her up.....came back and started her up and it seemed for a minute or two to smoke a little more then normal and i panicked and ran to the back and it cleared up but there was a slight hint of blue smoke from the exhaust.....iv had the pcv valves changed so it cant be that.......just wondering what it costs nowadays to get new turbos fitted also what route to take and can it be done without taking the engine out......i dont mind spending money but im looking for reliability over huge power Any help or information would be grateful Fas

iv worked for serco before and i have to admit.....the hours can be a little long and early starts are a must if your involved in there other sectors....such as transportation.....remember the hours being from around 6 in the morning to 6 in the evening
