You can still drive the zx but dont boost it, just drive normal for now and you will be fine. You engine is no where near knackered and nothing is really wrong. Just a minor/simple fix As Sean above said really... Has your car had its boost increased. This will most likely be the case and it has been set to high (via boost jets) this will cause your engine to run lean as the fuel injectors with not be able to cope with the demand. Get some different boost jets in and run some shell Vpower or bp ultimate and you should be fine :) Will only cost you £10 to fix :)

I would be up for that. As every one gets around the 380 mark with the same mods Even Allan got more hp than us and he is running std boost. all of us were running around the 330hp. The tester said to me that he made my car have a boost leak and i had lost .2 to .3 of a bar and said it should be about 15-20 hp higher So he should of sorted it out and let me have another run :rant:

You will not reach full boost as the engine is not under load. Really your knock sensor should pick up the dett and put it into safety mode. Unless the knock sensor has been bypassed like mine. Do you have boost jets in or incressed boost, as this will cause dett if the boost it to high I doubt it will show up on the conZult

Our dyno day was sh1t. Told you they should be around the 380hp mark :mac1:

Sounds like detonation to me. It will sound like a stone or a marble in a tin can and its shakeing. some say like a crisp packet being scruntched up? If its only on boost this will be the problem. If it was anything else mentioned above then it will do it all the time through out the rev range imo. Do you have a boost controller??

At the end of the day you have a 4sec car to 60. so with that amount of acceleration anything realy will be a stepdown unless you went for an enzo lol!!! The zx isnt a 1/4mile car or a 0-60 due to traction. You can get these to spin in 3rd if you push hard enough.. The zx can do what the four can do easly. then over 80mph the zx will be well on its way without the stress on the engine. (stock or stock) You can get the zx to 400hp easy. without internal mods. the yanks run a few over 500hp on stock internals but we know how crazy the yanks are :rofl:

Dont want to sound rude but tbh it dosnt sound like you will ever be happy zx. It just sounds the wrong car for you. why dont you just tune the gt4 up if you are already getting 4sec /60 :confused:
