thats a shame Jan sound like the oil pump could possibly be failing and soon to be on its way out As for the gear not going into the reverse could be the clutch fluid could need changing and bled or adjusted?? did you not get a 3 months warrenty from them?? I would get my money back if you can. i bought my 1st gsi changed the oil and a week later the oil pump went. mine was a private sale so i just broke mine for parts.

you best getting an Ecu that is already socketed and chiped from Andy P or from z world. there around about £100 and at least your going to be safe and there just plug in and play :)
