  1. get the manual box in it then you will love it forever. do the bodywork later she is good enough for now :cool3:
  2. If you can do it yourself then you will have nothing to worry about. It could last you years as it is :) you can buy sill repair kits. there about £200 iirc for all 3 parts
  3. yeah so the swb us usless :tt2:
  4. ask if you can poor some water down the tbar pipes and see if it comes out :)
  5. you have been thinking of selling for some time now so maybe the car just isnt the right one for you. If i was you i would save all the money and hassle and sell it on as is. I doubt the bits you would want to do would add any real value.
  6. If its on the sill. then it could well be rusting from the inside out. common on the zeds im affraid and costly to repair and you would have to match the colour. there is a pipe that drains rain water from the tbar through the car and out by the sill. The pipes shrink and pop off and leak water insode of the sill and rust from the inside out :( you would be best having a good look as it might only be surface rust after the respray??
  7. swb should be smooth and only lwb should have spoilers. If your selling then i would save your money and leave it as is. i very much doubt a spoiler would make any differance in the chance of selling it. Plus it would give the new buyer the option :)
  8. I could be wrong, but i seem to remember reading on here i think about it having rust somehere on the rear arch. You would have to ask the owner on that one.
  9. looking good. i can feel a new ebay pic comming on :lol: your wheels not corroded yed. my laqure only lasted a month :(
  10. take bantambunny's shell. swap all your nice bits over and give the car a good blow over :)

  16. well he is wrong on my account because i have already given my word to the twinz  But i will be buying one for my car only :tt2:
  17. quite a bit down on power :(
  18. I will get the diffuser for my car as aoon as i can. I was going to buy a bumper and chop it up lol!!!! As for the spoiler it is very nice, is it nicer than the 89 i dont know i think there just as good as each other tbh. the appeal for the new one is because its new and not many around imo
  19. I agree with Ian. you cannot buy and sell as many cars as you do and not get bit on the arse every once and a while. buy a car and bloody stick with it
