  4. If you are not too bothered about the paint then it works well without damaging the spoiler as you can angle it accordingly as you pull.

  11. Just got a 49cc petrol bike/scooter (not for myself..lol) and its got an electric start option but aint working, Ive never done anything on any kind of bike whether big or small so got no idea at all. All the rest of the electrics work fine...i.e lights/horn etc Here goes, From the key into a terminal block then out of that there are : Red and Black to the switch/Red and Black to the coil There is no live feed to any of the above only to the other terminal block off the key switch which operates the lights and is working correctly. Anyone got any ideas? Cheers

  15. I spoke with their head office and they want a quote for the damage so need to sort that and take it from there mate.
  16. Today was 'almost' disastrous. I have always considered my car to be quite safe in the garage while im out at work but earlier today my neighbour had his coal deilvered and the driver run into my garage with his truck (its a stand-alone garage and not attached to the house) He managed to move the whole thing 11 inches backwards and twisted it very badly. Naturally when I initially looked at the damage outside I feared the worse but upon prising the door up I found the Z didnt suffer a single scratch..how not is anyone's guess but anyway I pulled it out of the garage and put it safely out of the way. I went to look at the garage in more depth and as I grabbed the door it fell off which if the car had still have been in there would have took the impact of the door on it. I have had the garage inspected and its a write off :( I havent even driven the car yet since having the recent makeover either....lol A very lucky escape indeed.
  17. Hang on while run to the outside lav to look at the rest of the photos...lol Looks very nice bud :)

  20. Good to hear mate, always nice to fit new parts and see improvements.
  21. Thats what she is wanting to do mate as her insurance is no longer valid for the car and she doesnt want to spend money having it repaired for the mot/vic test. She just wanted to know if she could sell it on as is and tell new owner whats needed.
  22. She still has the logbook but the dvla havent requested it back, all her insurance company have said is that a vic test required before can be legally put back on the road, she doesnt want the car anymore but wonders where she stands selling it on.
  23. Anyone had any experience with a cat c write off vehicle with regards to a vic test. A family member has had her car wrote off and now been paid out on it (less salvage value and kept the car) the car is too nice to scrap but just wondered whats the position to selling it on. Is it her responsibilty to put it through a vic test or can she just inform any potential buyer it requires the vic test?
