  1. Hi, I'm looking for a Windscreen Wiper Linkage for my 1993 manual TT. Has anyone got one for sale please? Thanks Andy
  2. Hi I'm looking for the ali pipe connecting the A/C condenser to receiver/drier. It's the little connector that if it's anything like mine is rusted on solid and had to be cut off. If you have one that would be great. None in stock at Z1Motorsports or Conceptzperformance Thanks Andy
  3. As the title says I'm looking for a window regulator for the driver's side window. Mine's a 93 TT but don't think that makes a difference. Thank you
  4. After all that it was the radiator cross member so the link from Alic at the start of this thread is most helpful. Think I will get a new one shipped in, too important not to. Thanks
  5. Thanks for the suggestions and offer. I have just picked one off ebay from a good source (it seems) for £55 delivered so quite chuffed. Will strip, check and re-coat as suggested. Looks like some job to get it in though, I assume the garage can do it from the bottom up?
  6. Thanks Think I had the wrong part number. Price.... Ouch looks like another 4 figure MOT bill.
  7. Certainly won't be doing myself (I'm bloody useless!) It's the suspension cross members I need.not the central radiator one. Thanks anyway.
  8. That dreaded time of the year the MOT. Usual carnage...............2 new tyres (that's now 4 new ones), window regulator for E/W and a whole heap of welding.....but also some discontinued parts Does anyone know if there is anywhere in the world that does the suspension cross members (Part 54401-44P20) Nothing at ConceptZ or Courtesypart (which is usually the last resort). Will i have to get these of a breaker? Cheers Andy
  9. As I successfully secured some oil cooler hard-pipes I'll have a punt on a fuel pump. I need a fuel pump, mine very noisy, for a 1993 Twin Turbo manual. UK car if that makes a difference. Newer the better please. Andy
  10. Hello, I need a set of these pipes. Parts number 2135540p11. Item 21302 on most parts diagrams. Anyone with a set? Thanks Andy
  11. Thanks for the codes tip. I'll take that in to the guys at the garage and see if they have tried that. The MAF was bought from Z1. I thought it would be that as I had a problem with a MAF a few years back with a similar problem. So as I thought that would fix the problem I decided to upgrade at the same time so I upgraded to the dual set up (cost a bloody fortune with the extra filters, Selin translator, import duties and tax) but it wasn't the cause. Thanks
  12. Garage did it and they are very thorough. I was putting some polished bits in at the same time Plenum, turbo pipes. etc. so everything got a good a good clean. Any connectors that might be a particular problem? Thanks
  13. I wondered if anyone has any suggestions. Car sitting in the garage (and has been for some time) and they're not sure where to go next. We going on a rolling road this week to see if we can identify the fault. When car is driven it won't rev above 3000rpm in all gears so pulling away is a nightmare. You can rev in like mad when in neutral. I replaced all the injectors and the car was working fine. I have changed the entire engine wiring loom so all the connectors actually connect. 3 of the 6 coil packs have been replaced with new I have a new MAF so it's not that Just before the problem started I was driving throttling down and something went pop like a muffled exhaust backfired. The garage found a split in the exhaust manifold/flange (think that what it was) that's now been repaired but the problem persists. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Andy
  14. Thank you Guys for the birthday wishes and car compliments (makes it all worth while). I do need to circulate more.

  16. Definitely yes for me, I added my compliments on another thread, http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?177961-25th-Anniversary-Pics I think a National dedicated event is the answer. This was a 25th anniversary (they don't come round every year!) and despite pledges of 60+ cars we managed just over 40. Despite missing 20 or so cars the event was great with the added distraction of the museum that made it a good day out. Do local events get these numbers? Lets face it at a 30th anniversary we may struggle to fill a phone box. If you ever look at the "How many are there left" site you'll see there are less of us every year. http://www.howmanyleft.co.uk/?utf8=%E2%9C%93&q=300zx I think a yearly National event with a northern or southern venue in alternate years to share the pain then no one has any complaints (apparently!) I'm into the scooter scene too and there are monthly rallies all over the country with extra local events nearly every weekend but everyone aims to get to THE National on the Isle of Wight on the August Bank Holiday

  18. A big thanks firstly to the organisers, the map beforehand was a real help finding the entrance to the parking area. And to the stewards manning the gate in some foul weather early on and for supplying some nice cake in the afternoon. It was quite surreal to travel up from Eastbourne not seeing one Z, then seeing over 40 in one place, then driving home again and again not see another solitary Z. Although I agree the rain going home meant I could barely see my own Z at times. It was great to meet some real enthusiastic Z owners not least Rich who has taken some great pictures here. I love all the lighting gizmos on your car, a real labour of love. My other half now thinks I'm only half mad for the money and time I lavish on the car but now sort of understands what all the fuss is about. Loved it, thanks everyone
  19. Now that is a service you don't get with many webpages/forums, etc. Thank you very much
  20. Probably a very easy question for those mechanically minded. One of my fuel injectors has failed so I am intending to get a fullset from ConceptZperformance but wanted to know what is the "standard size on the 1993 manual Twin Turbo (UK car). Their webpage suggests it 370cc but the choice available is extensive. Everything on my car is standard engine-wise and I wanted to keep it that way. Can anyone confirm the size for me please? Thanks
  21. Read and understood, Thanks.
  22. Hi Lexx, Just because I always worried about these thing my name is not on the list (in the closed thread) as attending or awaiting confirmation. I emailed my details and confirmation was exchanged on 29th April. Hope that helps. Thanks
  23. I have emailed my details, Thanks.
