2 mafs allows the ecu to measure more air into the engine, the standard maf is good for around 500 bhp ish so any further and you need either 2 or a map sensor which replaces it Mike

front mounts are fine as long at the rest of the cooling elements of your car have been upgraded, the border one i had was not sat flat, it was more like a v setup which allowed air to pass to the radiator, same with the hks one. has to be said i have had 2 zeds with fmic and never had any issues and i think when you get above a certain level of power and i mean a very high level ie over 600-700 bhp then you would need to go front mount but anything less and an upgraded sidemount would be more than sufficiant, as its been said macs is still running side mounts and near on 600 bhp with no issues :)

you will need something like an apexi safc to do the twin maf setup mike

Went to see this on friday and it was a good film, not great but as a trekkie i felt it was missing some of the core things which made startrek. I suppose thay have made this to be more commercial to appeal to the general public and i think from that sense it works but i left feeling like they could have done some small things in it to make it better? Also was looking forward to seeing simin pegg as scottie but he was only in it for 10-15 mins at the end!! i also thing the plot was a little vague but overall well worth a watch Mike

your right, a car thats under 10 years old to be imported needs a model report and the 300zx does not have one hence why no 99 spec ones have ever been over here but thats just for customs, once it passes you then register it with the dvla and its them who now and again cock up and put the plate on the car with the import date as the manufacturer build date LOL

its nothing to do with jersey etc now and again the dvla simply make the mistake of issueing the reg plate of an imported car as the date of import not the date of manufacturer, ive seen a few skylines, supras etc with 03, 04 regs etc

christ is that my engine from my yellow zed? seems along time i built that LOL as far as i know its still the only engine running trust internals in this country!! i remember paying £3k for the pistons and rods :o:D also you wouldnt believe how well it pulls from low down, the 3.2 really gives you extra grunt from low down ;) keep me informed on the build Mike
