  2. Nice one mate, just hope mine starts first time when i get the engine back in....eventually Kirbz
  3. just a slight difference stu!! have you sorted the sound out yet?? Mike
  4. Dont get me wrong mac i know focals are superb speakers but they are hard to set up, the box needs to be perfect for the best results and with the zed's boot that is very difficult. Plus they arnt the cheapest speakers in the world!! it all depends on what sound you want, i wanted deep & punchy bass so good 10's work well, if you want bass that can kill you  then focals are the way :D Wouldnt it be nice to have a big boot to put a couple of 18" focals in Kirbz
  5. With the technology out there now you can push just as much air from 10's and they take less room...sorted I think i will stick with my vega's mac if you heard them you would agree
  6. I too once had a 220+bhp 205 dimma turbo, great car but you think keeping the zeds power on the road is hard, you try keeping thats sort of power to the front wheels its hard work but great fun, can remember burning a escort cossie of coming back from blackpool with a few mates in the car with me, the look of discust when i overtook him!! later i was filling up with petrol when he pulled up getting told off by his missus and had a chat with him, he was running 350 bhp!! so the key to speed....lots of power in a car that weighs as much as a baked bean can Kirbz

  10. The car park is pretty big so i wouldnt think it will be a problem Kirbz

  14. I asked the same question, cos me and my dad took my engine out and all the garages said that it is technically possible but hard work. It took me and my dad about 7 hours all together

do a diagnostic test to see if its putting up a fault code Kirbz
  16. There the ones, i wish i had found out about them before i paid out £100 at middlehursts for the hks ones!! Good plugs i had ngk ones in before and they couldnt hold a spark at high boosts so thats why i changed Kirbz
  17. Could be the tubs, first i would have said the oil seals but if you done them then it points to them. Ask most garages that work on zeds everyday and they will all say the same, its easier to remove the engine to replace the tubs, and quicker. Smithy does some good value tubs so might be worth giving him a shout. Kirbz
  18. Ive had the pleasure of a old e reg rover 200. datsun cherry and the best a 900cc fiat uno....wow pure power

  20. it depends on what type plug you want, i got the hks iridium plugs which are about £90-£100 a set but they are made by denso for hks so i would get a set of denso ones next, they are about £50 a set
  21. Very jealous mate, just wish mine was back in, only need about another £7k to re build it! Kirbz
  22. My money is on stu (smw) i bet he sent loads of stuff into tony hart in his youth!!
  23. Dont worry about it tim, most of the people we deal with are snowed under at the moment, but i'm sure there's plenty of people who can knock something up. Lets have a painting comp, tony hart style, winner gets a set of coloured pens :p Kirbz
  24. I think i saw one for sale in preston that was red with a wide kit on so might be that one. Anyway i'd love to have a wide yellow arse :D Kirbz
  25. Wasnt meant to be funny tim, its just if i can get them printed for nothing it save peoples ink or the clubs dosh. If you could design something in quark or something like that then no probs we have mac etc so i should be able to print them out. Cheers Kirbz
