In money?? i couldnt say an estimated guess about £7k and me and my dad have done all the work ourselves so no labour costs are in there. I think the one that made me laugh is the 740 rwhp one running 555 injectors :rolleyes: as far as i was aware 555 cant puch anywhere near that kind of fuel to get that much power. Notch another american Bull Horse Power Kirbz

I have the HKS front mount one, i think you can get it for about £1500 now and its a great intercooler, you can get cheaper front mounts i think z1 do one for about $1000 The hard pipe kit is only about 1 foot or so longer than the standard ones so i dont think it makes too much difference Kirbz

Also check the pipes on the back of the plenum, thats where i got a leak, just a case of putting a new one on and yes you will lose some skin putting them back on ;)

Well the time had come everything connected..well almost so we started her up :confused: No probs started first time..bit loud as my back boxes were off but ran forst time bit rough but i expected that as i didnt have an air filter on the only problem was we have a water leak at the back of the plenum so may have to take the plenum off but hopefully can get to it but dead chuffed she started. Just need an MOT now ;) Mike

when you drag the tracks accross from the window on the right (mp3s) it should convert them when you drag them to the copying window on the left?? try looking in the settings Mike

Yeh i saw it not nice its one thing having you relative or child being killed but to release it on the internet and being able to see it must be terrible.

You certainly save alot of money but i'm not looking forward to dropping the engine again in a few months...just the thought give me a sweat :) Its not easy and you dont get the guarantees that you would from a decent garage but then again you have the satisfaction of doing it yourself :duffer: So the next post will hopefully be on wednesday when i will be starting it up and fingers crossed it will go ok Mike

i would say its the wrong wheel as apart from a big brake conversion it should fit either front or back no problems kirbz

there the same as the hks iridium plugs infact denso make them and hks rebadge them!! good plugs i use them kirbz

Well the engines in!! :) wot a b1tch to get in took about 4 hours to get the engine lined up with the gearbox up and down and up and down then plop went straight in!! Believe me its so easy you could do it. Of the top of my head theres a bracket holding it on which you undo and two pipes which feed into it undo them swp it over and put them back on. Jobs a goodun
