should be crated up next week and shipped then i should allow about 2 weeks for it to get here then its a case of bolting all the bits onto it and sticking it back together and in the car. as much as i wanted it by the end of august, i seriously doubt it as my manifolds wont be here for 3-4 weeks!! but you never know!? :) Mike

spec is in the rides section the cams are special order 280 degree with 10.2mm lift which are a little big really and my builder wanted me to have the next size down but i wanted to prove how much power a zed engine can make so went for the largest :) theres no way on earth i would ever make 4 figures!! for a start my injectors would only ever give me enough fuel for 800RWHP maybe a little more and with the 20g turbos 800 would be at there limits!! i suppose with a huge amount of NOS i may be able to and i do plan on nos but only about 100 shot, 50 each side to spool the tubs up ;) Mike

Only thing is ive had to drop the solid lifters as the cams are simply too higher lift so i would have had to have some specially made so gone with just new oem lifters :)

well yeh, well sort of lol :) no my old engine is getting refreshed as we speak, well not at this time but its all stripped down and is going in another members car ;) but i wanted a special spec :duffer:

Just to let you all know whats happened over the last 2 days The CPS got the file from the central ticket office and gave me a call to say they did have a copy of my letter i sent in but it arrived 2 days ofter the summons was signed off to be issued so as it was after the summons its tough and i have to go to court and plead either guilty or not guilty etc I did try to explain that i had sent/faxed and eventually email this letter and i'm sure the girls would say i had been in contact with them all the time to prove this and i was not ignoring it but it seemed to fall on deaf ears!? Anyway i gets a call today from them again to say they now have all the file from the ticket office and the lawer has reviewed them again for me and they have dropped the case :) So result in a round about way So many thanks for all your help Mike

11kg's!! its mental the weight difference of the oem crank pully to the lightweight ones :) i have the unorthadox ones and they do look very nice :)

You shouldnt have to cut it, i used to run 19's and had no issues but if your exhaust in new it does smell of burning for a while

fitting a body kit is always a gamble if it hits the floor or speed bumps etc lowering it 35mm wont help but will certainly help the looks of your car ;) if you have just fitted 19s then its probably the fronts rubbing on the inner wing lining!! its quite common and no doubt loose? what profile tyres are you running? I find them great in the wet, maybe its more down to suspension setup which i think people confuse with the tyre grip as they go hand in hand. Funny how you say you prefer toyos and there basically the same tyre ;) same tread but the falkens have a slightly softer compound hence more grip Mike

Ive sung the praises of the falken 451's for years now since being around skylines as they all use them, i was always a goodyear F1 user but would not go back now as the grip is superb and they last pretty well as well ;) Mike

on the blitz bovs?? not sure can take i pic for you tomorrow if you want matey?

i would try T-peicing your 2 blitz bovs together and running one vacuum source and try that?

Mine are on hard pipes but on where the recircs go I think it may be the recircs that are causing it as it sounds like the plumbing is OK May be worth trying to T the bovs together and run one vacuum source to see if that helps?? Mike

Where have you plumbed the blitz bovs in Kevin?? I run them as well and have no problems I run the vacuum to a T-peice at the front then upto the one of the pipes from the balance bar. Mike
