  1. In todays market i think you would be pushed to get £4k for it!! just not selling sat the moment and even decent spec TT's are struggling to fetch £4k
  2. Aye mine was at 479 RWHP and MACS was at 505 RWHP, from memory Boomin's car was at 530 but thats not at the wheels as his turbos would not do that at 1.2 bar so at a rough guess his is running at 1.2 bar arounf 450-460 RWHP. I know the guy i bought a plenum off is running about 500 at the wheels as well but he doesnt come on here and i believe theres a car being built in this country with a similar spec to mine with 20g turbos!! so like me will be looking for over 600 at the wheels :) Once ive finished building mine, i'm (well my dad) building someone elses project which should see 550 at the wheels in a slicktop ;) so that should be interesting The futures bright
  3. ive been picking up the ones which wernt on the car from ebay and by trawling the car clubs ;) paid between £60 and £100 each for them
  4. or to be cheeky if anyone has a holiday home they want to rent me either next week or the week after ;)
  5. As its pretty late to book anything major we have decided camping is the only thing we can do for a quick cheapish holiday. So if anyone can recommend any sites they have been to with good facilities, lots to do close by or within a reasonable drive. Cheers Mike
  6. lol no worries mate
  7. if you look at post number 2 i did make an opinion of the X5 which was a good opinion of it ;)
  8. i do have the greddy ones but only because of the quality etc i would have liked the defi's but i went for the greddy ones purely because of that :)
  9. they look nice but there not as accurate as the greddy ones ;)
  10. any engine gasket sealant should be fine, the nissan stuff if ok but as usual twice as much as any other sealant lol
  11. i think in all honesty its not the car, to have a 4x4 is now a status symbol rather than whats the best car for the job lmao Mike
  12. so why not save 5 grand and buy a 5 series estate?? looks better, goes better, handles better on the road and has more room lol
  13. i agree he is a good player and i would have him at man u :)
  14. can never understand why anyone would buy an X3?? they cant go off road there not very big there not very cheap and there not built by bmw but subcontracted and there ugly lol rather have a 5 series or spend the extra on an X5?? Mike
  15. Exactly at the end of the day its a job, yes they love what they do buts its still a job and they have (if there lucky) a 10 year window to earn as much money as possible to secure a future for themselves so as i said before if your offered more money, a better job ie like a promotion would you turn it down?? Mike
  16. bit of a gangster/drug dealer car but i believe there a very good 4x4 :) mate of mine is selling a 6 month old one if your interested? Mike
  17. you need to do a leak down test as it shouldnt be pushing the dipstick out, its usually caused by the PCV's being blocked then it cant remove the pressure from the cams which makes its way through old piston rings into the crank and once its builds up it has to come out somewhere so it can make its way up the dipstick or if your really unlucky it can blow the rear crank seal get yourself a leak down tester, i got mine from ebay Mike
  18. are you saying the timing changes as your revving it? because the timing does increase up the rev range and is only 15TDC at idle :) Mike
  19. LMAO well what have spurs won of late?? yes there an improving team but still not in the same class as the top 4 teams yet man u are not the same team they used to be but as it stands taking chelsea out of the equation man u are still the best team in this country and in the champions league etc i agree he was too expensive but he wasnt 18m but 14m but still a good 6m too much IMHO Mike
  20. Loss on a RWD car should only be approx 15% maybe a little more but not much so looks spot on Scoobies and Evos only tend to work on 25% loss with 4WD Mike
  21. Well i suppose its like being offered promotion at work, more money, better team etc etc yes loyalty is good but would you turn a nice big promotion down?? ;_
  22. best ones are the greddy warning ones :)
