One for any IT guys here!
Eh? How could i possibly have construed this as an thread asking advice? Clearly my suggestion for 31. was playing along with the whole joke? I'm pretty sure that the OP didn't make this up anyway, so it's not as if i'm putting down his joke. Maybe I should have just replied "LOL" and maybe put a funny smiley, and that would be better than some input? But back to the important matter in hand...Yes you'd reset his password, but it enables you to do the job and then you can give him a default password which he can change at next log on.

Just log in as Admin, surely? And if you need to log in as the user, log in as admin and reset the user's password. And may i add: 31. If you have a problem with your computer, never try rebooting it of your own free will. Always call IT support so that they can remind you to do this fiirst.

Non-amber side repeaters - legal?
Great link. to summarise: "NON-FLASHING BLUE LIGHTS ON VEHICLES" "This was the exact same question which was asked in the law section in the latest issue of Police Review (6th December). The summary of the answer is no, they are not illegal [provided they are not red]. " Although a lot of coppers don't seem to know that... Hmm. Thanks for your help ZGirl

Just to be clear, they're not flashing or anything. Any idea where i could find out about this kind of thing? Cheers.

Non-amber side repeaters - legal?
I don't wish to do anything which may get me pulled over. Clearly the interior light and the "300ZX" light on the back are legal, but are you sure sidelights aren't? I was led to believe that they are OK. Correct me if i'm wrong, but we have 2 sets of sidelights right? One set next to the indicator, and one set further in, below the headlights. I was under the impression that i would be OK with blue LEDs in one of these? Number plate lights are also illegal, even though it's not a silly colour? I'm surprised, what with the barely-legible number plates which seem to be legal these days....

Non-amber side repeaters - legal?
Ok well i'll prepare to get flamed here. I certainly would like to not have amber if i can get away with it. I'm doing blue LEDs in the sidelights, number plate lights, interior light, windscreen washer jets, and the "300ZX" light on the back. If anyone thinks this sounds a bit chavvy, feel free to take the piss - i am thick skinned! So basically i'd love to put some similar ones in the repeaters (with a white/clear cover), depending on legality.

Trustworthy garage in London
Hehe. BAsically, after i brought the car round to my in-laws, my father-in-law (who used to be a mechanic back in the sixties) had a look at it and says it makes a faint tapping sound when idling. This is something to do with tappets? Should i be worried about that? Could it be expensive? All seems to work fine other than that though.

Also, i was hoping to have non-amber bulbs in them.

Non-amber side repeaters - legal?
Maybe i didn't say this quite right. I know the indicators have to be amber, but i was just wondering about the side repeaters - the little lights on the door. Are these also counted as indicators, and therefore have to be yelow?

Non-amber side repeaters - legal?
Title says it all really. I'd like to replace my amber side repeaters with clear ones. Is this legal or not? Thanks.
