I thought the 300 does not have a thrust bearing, but a pivot bush that has no bearings, as quoted by "jimmer". Al.

I agree with you both...... for the sun factor yes, UV has a very damaging effect on interiors of a car, cracking/fading etc. On the other hand, inner materials used can cause an abrasive effect, like a bad fitting cover that does not enclose the car completely, with strong winds blowing the cover. I would only go for a cover made for a 300zx, not a universal cover. Only my opinion people, and i am still looking for a good cover after 2 years!!! Al.

Keep the colour matey. When you dropped me to the station that day jimmer took my car, how many people looked at your car? I remembered it as it was yesterday.... almost every driver turned their head to take a look. You do not get that from a "normal" 300, do you! Keep her the same Si, she looks good, damn good buddy. Ok matey go for the mods, thats cool, but, do not change that colour!! That is one very nice looking 300 matey, the colour is superb. I have seen your zed and it is amazing. Don't go for a paint job Si, it looks too cool to change!! Al.

I had this too matey, hissing noise when clutch depressed, and as you say, i done the same, blank it off and you get a stiff clutch with no hissing. This could be the answer!! If you go ahead and buy one let me know and i will have one and share the cost, and maybe, a group buy? Anyway, i am in matey, if you are. Al.

My little appo at work has got money to put into the car and money to spend on the mods, so, i talked him through it and we came to a sum of approx £17,000!!!! He was alittle shocked to say the least! But, this is my theory....... My build so far cost me £28,000 Resale value, approx £6000 Loss, £22,000 Now look at the other extreme...... Buy a new 350z (or similar) for approx, and it is approx...... 350z £28,000 Keep her for 10 years, or so value then, approx, £6000 Loss £22,000 I know it is a little vague, but does reflect a true statement. "ALL HAIL JIMMER!" "THE GOD OF ZED!" The old chap has rebuilt my 300, and she is one fine, purring V6!! It is a round trip of approx 4-500 miles for me, and i would take that trip every time, for work on my zed! I have a jimmer enterprises engine build. Al.

Hi people, At my work we have an apprentice that is looking for a FTO GPX, manual. He is not fussed in colour, but must be good condition. He wants it standard so to make his mark on the car.
