Hi guys. well ive finally got another z!! :cool3: Its not perfect but its in good nick. Problem is there is rust bubbles on the osr arch. now it was repaired by zedworld 2 years ago. So someone has told me its going to keep coming back!! A painter i know has said he could do a temporary repair for £200. but it may last 6 months it may last a year!! Problem is ive started noticing a few paint mismatches all over the car :sad: So my question is, how much roughly fo a repair and full respay cost? not talking about bare metal as i know that could be anything upto 5k!! hi guys, im looking at an 1993 uk 300zx tt auto. its done 125000 miles on stock turbos. its had a new engine put on it on october of last year, fitted by zedworld. original service book with 17 stamps and the sills have been done by zedworld too. my question is how long can stock turbos last? and how much do u think said car is worth? by the way it has series 3 spoiler and 99 spec rear lights too. cheers

This looks like a good example but I don't want to travel all that way and it's a dog. I went to London a few months ago after speaking to the garage who assured me it was 'mint'! When I got there it was full of rust, tyres bald, wrong sizes and smoke coming out exhaust when driving!! Was not very happy!!! I'd really appreciate it. Thanx in advance.

guy said there was a hole in radiator. I've been lookin for a decent z for ages either too expensive or an import. Me n insurance companies not the best of mates shall we say. So must be uk. The thing is if i get it at this kinda price i'm not expecting a minter, but as long as i'm not gonna spend a fortune on engine repairs. It did drive fine for the first few mins then like i say started to not be as fast. I've heard of a safety boost would that be on if there was a lack me petrol? I really really want my old z back! I'm just desperate to get back in one!

thanks for the swift responses! Guy is a dealer, hes putting a new radiator in it today. Hes offering a 3 month warranty and 6 months tax for £2500. What do ye think? I've been lookin for a zed since july. Only got between £2500 - £3000

hey guys just looked over a 1992 k uk auto tt last week and when i took it a test drive it seemed ok. but after driving for about 5 mins, when i floored it the boost guage went up but there was no surge in power. and there was a belt squeal and some kind of "whoosh/rattle" kinda sound, this was at 40-45 mph. when i stopped and spoke to the guy i said there must be turbo problems. he tried to start it up and it wouldnt go. then discovered no petrol in car. after the initial test id already decided to walk away. guy text me half hour later saying running great with no problems after putting petrol in it. said it was air con belts making noise. now, if it was just petrol, would that cause it not to boost properly or wouldnt it just stutter. need help! sorry such a long winded story, best i describe all problems before i fork out hard earned on a dog!! P.S. does the rubber spoiler that is moulded to boot have metal in it, cos the twin turbo writing is lifted and below that there is rust. so can i take the spoiler off and put the plastic insert from z centre in the hole. thanks guys

Lucky bugger i WORK for kwik-fit and i cant recharge my air con!! I have the earlier system r12 instead of r134. Did i see someone write £50 for new valves?
