  1. nice quick motors, my mate is also selling his, 470bhp proven, lovely cars and about the same on reliability as a zed! both had our engines out twice in two years :D
  2. i fitted one of these, it was a right pig of a job to get it to sit right, in my opinion it wasnt woth the hassle and i would sell it on if i was you, i only had it in there a couple of weeks and took it out because the car wasnt happy, sorry if that sounds blunt but you would be better off getting an apexi induction which is what a lot of members on here favour,
  3. While im tinkering around with my car (getting it ready for respray) i wanted to try something different with the exhaust, I think the exhaust is standard on the car at the moment but not sure, its straight pipe (approx 75mm) from turbos to back box, no mid pipes cats etc, I need to know if it is possible to cut the tail pipes off the back box and weld up the holes, then drill/cut into the side of the backbox and weld new pipes on the side? im asking this because i want side exit exausts to come out half way up the bumper each side, im a welder by trade so can do all the fabracating etc no problem but will it cause many problems with back pressure etc? anybody have any ideas?
  4. does anybody have or know of any links that give step by step guides to engine removal? also how long does it take roughly? thanks
  5. i didnt know you can sell drugs on ebay
  6. by the time it was poster it was about £240, i had to cut a bit of the front bumper out but that was an easey job, like other members said the cores might not be very good etc but i had a checked at a local performance garage and they was plesently suprised with it, the worst thing about the fitting was getting the front bumper off, quite fidily, the car seemed happier when fitted for some reason, i dont know if it was imagination though lol, i say go for it! :hyper:
  7. ive got that one, no complaints, fitted myself with a mate in a few hours,

  17. Had a cracking new years eve, girlfriend was ill so stayed in, not a good start, Woke up today and went out to my car, some w*****s have tried prying the door open with a screwdriver, failed but made a right sodding mess, couldnt get in so ripped off my spoiler (standard), went the length of the car both sides with the screwdriver and scratched it down to the metal, folded both wing mirrors back busting them and twisted up my wipers  To memory i havent upset anybody capable of that so im thinking it was mindless vandels/kiddy thieves after my install, Ive reported it to the police and they were as much use as an ash tray on a motor bike, Its all cosmetic damage but wanted to know how much the spoiler actually does? I like to give my car a bit of heavy foot but wondered if i will notice any difference at higher speeds and cornering? If its not much of a difference i will flush the boot lid sort out the body work and spray the whole car matt black because ive been wanting to for a while, its red at the moment but doesnt look aggressive enough, cheers

  22. you can request caliberation, and the fact it flashed in your face could have temporarely blinded you and made you crash, if you get a ticket tell them just after the photo you crashed and caused damage to your car and make a claim, FREE MONEY!!! :)
  23. mine does it too, like Quavey says, dont worry to much, IMO i wouldnt worry unless you started noticing power loss etc,
  24. brilliant! i love random stuff like that!
