You might be lucky with the tubs as oil contamination may of come from passed the center piston.

Hose on it's way. I think they pre-heat them because some cars are in a very cold climate (North America) but your right every strives to get colder inlet temps!!!! Don't figure :rolleyes:

Yes, if you drop the sub frame (makes splitting much easier) and tilt the engine and box forward you can reach the bolts with a 14mm spanner

No, I only took the prop off which allows the box to tilt.

I was worried someone would say that, I've put the bell housing back on the box in the car :smash: Would the result be a little higher with the throttle open? The engine is only a tempoary one I'm putting in while I build a new one

Took me about 2 days it was my first time taking an engine out of a 300, recond next one would be a day/day 1/2

Plugs out, throttle closed, engine out.
