  1. Just after some advice people please if you can help. I'm looking at a career change as I'm fed up of being stuck in a dead end job and I'd like to pave a career as an accountant. I gained all A and B grades at GCSE and A-Level but rather than go to uni i decided to go earn some money for a bit. A bit turned into 9 years  but now I'm regretting not training as anything and want to be more. The course I've looked at is this one http://www3.open.ac.uk/study/undergraduate/qualification/k01.htm Is it any good? I dont want to pay out a lot of money only to be no better of. If not can anyone suggest anything better? Cheers for looking and cheers in advance for any advice :thumbup1: any advice will be rewarded with a free pint of your ever in the Nottingham area :thumbup1:
  2. I had a UK pearl yellow that i brought for £1500 from the auctions! Replaced the blown engine and loved it until a transit decided to ram me into a lorry :(. I think the plate was H518 FDY if anyone else used to own it....
  3. Thought of another one! People who sit there at traffic lights and then as soon as the lights turn green, pull forward two yards and put their indicators on!!! Why didnt you have them on when you pulled up to the lights coz then I could have gone in the other lane!?!?!?
  4. Got to agree with this one. A couple of years ago my dad had an an anerysm which then led to a stroke and unfortunately is now in a permanent vegetitive state. My mum looks after hom but has to have carers and one of them was telling him about her 'big scary motorbike' and then started making brum noises! Probably have to have lived it to relate to it but its bloody horrible seeing someone who built a house with his bare hands spoken to like that! Other things are old people with no manners. I meet hundreds of people a day in my job and I've gotta say old people are far worse than young people for not saying thank you or please. Then the minute you say something they say, "Respect your elders!" I have to laugh or I'd bloody punch them hahaha
  5. When I was 14 I was coming back from a school trip to France. We was in the middle of nowhere when the nus broke down! It was half ten at night and pitch black in a foreign country when the bus driver announces he has Scream on video! We put it on and Ive never been so scared! All around was darkness and bushes and to make it worse I had a window seat haha. Never been able to watch the film since lol
  6. As a postie i gotta say this is a proud day for me lol. Never seen a fiver with a stamp on it before but have seen a dildo, a slice of toast and an orange all with stamps stucks on haha
  7. Does anyone else see a Fiat coupe from the side???
  8. I know someone who has a mini washing line type thing next to his kettle and he hangs used tea bags on them to dry them out and use again, a very tight man indeed lol
  9. I cant imagine this in America, Germany, Russia, Spain or anywhere else aprt from here. So frustrating! We all know theres going ot be trouble and every person arrested will be a non muslim.
  10. My mum is a full time carer for my dad who at the age of 49 suffered a stroke and was left in permanent vegatative state and gets a massive £53 a week. Because they both worked hard and brought a house rather than asked for a free one she is entitled to absolutely nothing else in terms of grants or discounted rates on council tax etc. Stories like this make me sick and make Austrailia or Canada seem more appealling by the day.
  11. http://www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/news/uk/crime/article6956044.ece In my eyes there is no such things as going to far, or excessive force when someone ties up a family and threatens them with knives.
  12. My business account went into the red after i went in to close it down. They transferred all the money into my personal account and then wanted to to charge £3 for the transfer when they're was obviously no money in there so it went overdrwan thus meaning the account cant be closed. They didnt tell me this till the £8 a day interest plus £120 a month charge had meant i owed them over £1200!!!! Very luckily i kept a letter saying the account was closed, thanks for your custom. Took nearly a year to sort though
  13. we had someone from barnodos come to our door so i stood and chatted and agreed to donate a fiver a month direct debit. Thought this was quite good of me but within 3 months they were sending letter and ringing asking me to up it to a tenner. I kept saying no, then one day someone rang again and said "are you sure you cant stretch to ten pounds?" i said no and then she said "well a fiver is hardly worth it" so i thought fine and cancelled it. now i just think sod 'em all!!!!!!
  14. Hi all, just a quick question, is it possible to sign in to two different msn accounts at the same time? cheers and thanks in advance, daniel
  15. So you are comparing 6 million innocent Jews being tortured, experimented on and gassed to a scumbag getting tasered? To answer your question I dont like the idea of the holocaust but i do like the idea of someone who, having just beat up two bouncers and a policeman, getting a taste of his own medicine.
  16. When you look into the background of these people they are normally all the same. The woman at the G20 protest for instance, mid 30's shoplifter and crack addict. They nearly always deserve it and if it wasnt for the bleeding heart liberal groups in the first place, makign the police do there jobs with hands tied behind there backs, alot of these people probably wouldn't get to the stage where they need to be tasered.
  17. I'm from Nottingham and the guy getting tasered lives near me. A middle aged repeat offender, waster, offers nothing to society and now a group of honest, hardworking people could lose there jobs because of him and he will probably get shitloads of compo. Should have just shot the dick and done the world a favour.
  18. yeah i'll get some up. He's a lovely dog now, so glad I kept him.
  19. I have a dogue de bordeaux and had the same problem. I was tough on him because i knew he would grow to be 12/13 stone and he was excellent but as he got older he started misbehaving, more than just pushing his luck. It turned out when i left for work at 6am she would let him sit on the settee and share her toast or tea biscuits that she had. Then he would be upstairs while she was getting ready. This is one thing I would never ever stand for, dogs upstairs. When I would come home from work he would try and jump on the settee and look confused when I shouted at him. It was getting worse and worse to the point where twice he pissed in the kitchen. The second time I tried to tell him off when he proper went for me with teeth bared. I did what anyone would do and lashed out with my fists and knocked him back, then chucked him outside. I told my girlfriend when she got in that I'm getting rid and thats when she confessed she had been letting him get away with everything. I went apeshit and told her if he ever does it again hes gone and so is she. She toughened up and hes been great ever since. The point is though its alright these women wanting to treat big dogs like babies but they are pack animals and they want to be leader of there pack. If they decide that they have done wrong can they fight them off? A dog wants to be master or mastered.
  20. I saw you the other day Vinz driving down Arnold Road in Bestwood. Very nice and clean!
  21. I empty postboxes at night and i have found loads of syringes in these. Scumbags. my uncle works drug squad and he got stabbed with one once. Luckily he was ok.
