If i had a blunt rusty knife
A cousin of mine was murdered ten years ago this summer, 16 years old minding his own business when he was punched from behind and then kicked and stamped on by someone who had had an argument with their girlfriend and "was just in a bad mood". The hope is he would have lived the rest of his days in squalour in a rat infested prison. He actually got sentenced to six years in a young offenders institute (despite being 19), out in three for good behaviour (how are you supposed to behave in prison???), within six months done exactly the same thing again and strangely enough he got sentenced to less than last time and he got five years! As for killing murderers it would be nice but real justice in my mind and my aunties, uncles and cousins would be a horrible prison for the rest of his life. Killing them young is too good, I'd rather their spirit was broken and they were left a crying insecure mess. It seems in this day and age there is no justice either way.

F1 and their stupid penaltys.
So could Hamilton have made it back to the pits had he not been told to stop? I was under the impression he ran out on the track. Seems a bit unfair if they told him to stop and then punish him for it.

Advice about my bolts!
I've got a Saxo (dont ask) and I just wanted to change the pads so went to get the wheels off and they have some starange bolts that you need to stick a hex key inside and undo. Whoever had done them before had massively overtightened them and broke 3 of them! The walls have all snapped meaning there is nothing for the hex key to grab and theres also nothing I can bang a socket over! I'm not fussed about using the hub again as they are only £10 each from the scrapyard so would drilling them out be a bit of a ball ache? Cheers in advance for your help and advice, positive rep all round :thumbup1:

and i thought i had seen it all.........................
Thats disgusting! When I was younger I took a labouring job for a company who used to clear out old buildings ready for renovation and my first job was an old cigar factory which on the top floor had pigeon shit up to my knees with about a thousand pigeons living in there and that was my first day. We weren't allowed in there again for health and safety reasons so my second day was a derelict block of flats that had been empty for two years apart from a load of tramps and druggies squatting there. After getting past needles and other crap i walk in to the bathroom and the smell instantly made me sick. After a couple of minutes i try again and there is shit all over the floor and my eyes scan around the room and the toilet, sink and BATH are overflowing with excrement!!!! I can still smell it now ten years on lol

Not the best way to catch the bus!
I can remember a bus driver telling me they have the right to pull out as soon as they put their indicators on, after that its the oncoming cars fault :xxx:

Not the best way to catch the bus!
Strange how these things can happen. A couple of years ago i put all my bike leathers on to fly up to my brothers but when I went outside my girlfriend had blocked my bike in so I went inside grabbed her keys, all the time muttering myself and not even bothering to take my leathers off, and went out in our ML. Within twenty seconds a stolen X5 came flying through a crossroads and smashed the side of my car nearly tipping me over! The police said he was doing 55mph when he hit me! If I'd been on my bike there wouldnt be much left of me! As other people have said glad your both ok and it seems fate played a part in making the Zed unusable!

Driveshaft removal advice
Hi all, looking to your extensive knowledge for some advice. I've got an Impreza wrx that I've been slowly breaking and the last bit to take off is the rear diff and driveshafts that I'm selling to a friend for £50. Ive removed it all apart from the drivers side driveshaft from the hub. I've undone the nut but it just doesn't want to come out the hub. I've tried hammering the hell out of it, pulling, pushing but it just doesnt move. Has anyone got any ideas of what I can do as the shell is being collected tomorrow and also with only selling it for £50 I dont want to spend too much on removal. Thanks in advance everyone! Virtual pint for all who help or a real one if you're ever in Nottingham

green eyed monster
Just want to add I'm quite a secretive bloke, I have nothing to hide but my phone is always in my pocket and I always carry it round the house with me and I'd never dream of lettign anyone read through my text messages. Can't explain it, maybe its because I'm the eldest of five and when I was 16/17 my little brothers were always trying to snatch my phone and go through it. I'm the same with my mail though, when me and my girlfriend first moved in together I went ape when she opened a letter addressed to me. I've always been the type to leave someone as well if they have to know where I'm going and who with, my business not theirs. In return though I never ask who just text her or where shes going and what time she'll be back etc, its not I'm not interested its just not my business. If my girlfriend read my messages and then asked me to explain myself I think I'd react in the same way.

stop panic buying petrol
How strange, another recession is about to be announced and the goverment induce panic buying of their biggest tax revenue......... Also, stop panic buying, a strike has to be announced a MINIMUM of 7 days before it happens so the soonest now would be next friday, AND, It is only 2 out of the 5 main suppliers who will be striking, Jesus, I HATE panic buyers with a passion, lets do what we are told all the time yeahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.

Public Sector Vs Jeremy Clarkson
Oursleves and acouple of other families have tried a couple of times but because of lost records and lack of physical evidnece its very hard. There was one doctor on the ward, a young Egyptian man, who tried to help us said he was told to stop helping or he can't work at the hospital anymore.

Public Sector Vs Jeremy Clarkson
It may be controversial but I will NEVER show any support towards any NHS doctors and nurses. Just over three years ago my dad suffered an a bleed on the brain and then a stroke within three days of each other. He was in hospital for seven months but unfotunately was left in a permanant vegatitive state. Week one, Monday had a bleed on the brain and was rushed into hospital at 2am. Had blood drained out of his head but we were told he had 10% chance of survival. Wednesday night just before we left he started to open his eyes and respond to our voices by squeezing our hands and groaning. Thursday 6am he was moved out of ICU as they needed his bed. Between then and 2pm his medical chart was "lost". He then suffered a stroke and despite the fact he should have been checked on every hour because of the "lost" records we don't know how often he was checked but the doctor on duty said that with how much of his brain was now damaged (82%) he would judge no one noticed for at least 5 hours. Toxicology reports that the doctor insisted on also shown he was NOT given medication he should have been to prevent this happening. He was then moved to HDU for a week before finally being moved to a neurological ward for the next 7 months and the treatment was absolutely disgusting. I'll put some point below because it would take too long to put it all down. He had his arms strapped down to the bed for his own safety apparently despite being told he couldnt move his shoulders more than 5% of a normal person and he could only bend at the elbow 30% and had no means of grip in his hands. After a week of this we finally got a doctor to tell the nurses to stop it as there was no danger to him and it would only infuriate someoen who already had neurological problems as he wouldnt be able to understand why he can't move. Being given laxtaives for 3 weeks while suffering from terrible diahorrea. His weight plummeted from 14 stone to 8 before my mum snatched the medicine chart out of the nurses hand who refued to show her, depsite us as family being allowed to see, and asked why she was giving him laxatives and she said, "well I didnt know it would make him worse". Caught pneumonia SIX times! One of the times the nurse on duty said, not knowing I was there, "hopefully this time it'll kill him I'm getting pissed off looking after him". Depsite there being only 12 patients and 9 nurses the ward was filthy and in the my family and the other patients drew up a rota between us of who will bring cleaning equipment and every day one of us would scrub the floors, beds and walls. We also helped each other change bedding and patients clothing as the nurses said they didnt have resources depsite 9 of them sitting watching us do thier work. There was an old man who had no family and the smell from him was unreal and he had the same soiled clothing on for so long they had mould growing on them. When we asked we were told they nothign spare for him so we all brought spares in and they still didn't change him so in the end this poor man had to be changed and washed by strangers. When my dad was being "washed" they yanked the sheets from under him and he banged his head on the metal rails at the side of his bed. When i complained the nurse said, "it's not like he knows or can feel it". The other one fell about laughing. Whilst me and my brother were changing my dad two nurses came over to us. We thought they were coming to help, instead they asked if we wanted to go out with them on saturday, go back to theirs and have a foursome. They also regularly spoke about some of there sexual expolits and when someones family complained they were told to stop beign such a prude. His feeding tube was ripped out by a nurse and wasn't reported until it was time to hook it up twelve hours later. He had to go back down to theatre to have it put back in and we were told it highily likely he wouldn't come round from the anesthetic. None of them admitted doing it. Thats how we spent his 50th birthday. Despite it being on his care plan pillows were never put between his knees. This resulted in sores so bad you could see through to his kneecaps. The nurses never treated it even though they promised they would so we had to bring our own pads and bandages to treat it. These are just some examples. After six weeks of constant sickness my mum had enough and spent £12,000 of her own money taking on the mental health council and finally got clearing to get him home. We were told the sickness was permanant and he wouldnt see out two weeks at home. Two years later he died peacefully in his own home. He never suffered sickness, diahorrea, bed sores or indignity again. He never got any better but he at least got cared for. I now suffer from Ulcerative Colitis and need to have my bowel out in march. Luckily I'd seen NHS care at first hand and a year vefore i was diagnosed I started paying for BUPA. I may only be a postman but I make sure i can afford it. Neither me, my girlfriend or my child will never be at the hands of purely the NHS. I don't care who i offend but I can't support them. My solution, double the nurses pay and half the amount of staff. Keep the best and **** off the shit. And dont get me started on life insurance companies and banks who refused to honour policies because he couldnt sign documents despite "having no thought capacity, being deaf, blind and dumb and suffering total limb paralysis" asccording to their own doctors.
