my mate at stirling cc cars knows his way around any jap car especially the zx 300 tt anytime ive had a fault hes found it hes the type of guy who would strip an auto box to replace a part rather than most garages that would buy a new or recon to save them the work. i live in stirling and have lots of parts for the 300 zx tt on the shelf ready for pick up if you need service parts go to thompson motor factors at back o hill in stirling

possibly if air mix aint correct due to sticky valve etc check there aint a hole in the tank first lol

the AAC valve at the back of the plenum on pass side can also stick i had this prob and cleaned balance bar then took the AAC valve off and cleaned that to never had any bother since.

your balance bar will probably be clogged up take it off not a big job and give it a good internal clean you will be able to get a cleaning fluid that you can spray or pour through it and you will find that is the most probable cause

cheers smithy i think that ill take a day out and cleen all connections under the hood and hopefully that should do it for a while.

cheers guys i managed to get it going today i took all the plugs out and gave them a good clean then took the plugs off the ptu and cleaned them to and it started ok. good to go till the next hurdle thanks for the responces Tam.

Anyone had this prob out there. :headvswal Car was lying for two weeks and when i went to start it it the battery was dead so i put charged battery in and tried to start and it back fired a few times then started. I drove it around the block and after turning it off could not start again as if it was flooding.Went to it the next day and after turning the engine over for ages with foot on the peddal it eventually started. When i turned it off it wont start again any ideas :confused:

Hi mate try disconecting your battery for half hour then connecting it up will reset your ecu memory. These engines are very complicated everytime you work on them its best to reset ecu as in cases where certain plugs have been disconnected the ecu loses certain info and dont work properlt worth a try reguards Tam.

if you put the fence up ask for their share of the money and that might shut them up if not wait till they all complain and let them take it to the long process that the council offers which will take ages before you know it it will be time to renew the fence again
