  2. Thats what i thought, just need to get some reference voltages i.e. 50 mph = 3.0v 60 mph = 3.2v etc etc oh well must get on with a volt meter!!
  3. Hello there, does anyone know anything about the ECU outputs / inputs (from the sensors), specifically what voltages they operate between. I am looking at making a custom display hardware that will sit where the old clock is on my zed. I will have a button to change the options and will read out the data from the ecu. I am interested in:- Pin 29 O2 Sensor (L or R) Pin 55 O2 Sensor (L or R) Pin 53 Vehicle speed sensor Pin 7 Tachometer Pin 28 Coolant temperature Thats about it for now, hopefully someone out there will know what voltages they run at. Thanks ZX Steve
  4. After reading a bit more about the O2 sensor I now realise that they can take up to 5 mins to warm up before they read correctly. I took her out for a nice run on the motorwar for at least 10 mins and it was working superbly!! Should have read before posting!!
  5. I have just fitted an Autogauge Air Fuel gauge to my Zed using the pin on the Ecu as stated here:- http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=33722 Problem is that when I started her up she idled really high and wouldnt come down even after a 5 min drive around town. Is this something to do with disconnecting the ECU from the battery? I have only checked it once so far but thought it best to check before I do any damage by driving her!! Thanks in advance
