Cheers for the offer Rbert but the bonnet is crumpled. The nearside front wheel is sitting in at the bottom, so im suspecting suspension damage. We went back up yesterday to have a look at it, popped the bonnet and the inner wing has a split in it. The insurance company have arranged with a company in Macmerry to pick it up and have a look at it. I originally thought it would be written off as an Uneconomical Repair but my mate seems to think it could be fixed. If it cant be fixed, i'll see about buying it back and getting the engine swapped into another one. It's all "if's and but's" just now though. :cry::cry:

Looks like im not gonna make this guys. I had a bit of an accident involving my front nearside wing and a traffic light last and i dont think it'll be fixed by next weekend :(

Even though it's that rubber-y type material and not fibreglass? Sorry if thats sounds dumb, i just dont wanna make a mess of it. lol :x:

Ive just bought an original stillen nose panel but on the label, it says that you need to follow the instructions supplied with it, to make sure it is painted correctly. Unfortunately, i never got the instructions with it. Just wondering if anyone on here has a copy of them? Thanks

Well as above! I had the engine rebuilt about 18 months ago but i've not been able to get it remapped since. It's currently running a basic map, written by John Dixon, but i think it's nearing time to start running these turbo's to show what they can do. Any Offers?

Spotted a Red Series 1 LWB TT (not too sure on the gearbox, was in the bus!) in Clondalkin, Dublin around about 13:30 this afternoon. Was it anyone on here? Very tidy looking example apart from the paint flaking off the spoiler.

Dont fit it. Where are you looking to fit it? In place of the stock recirc? On hardpipes in the engine bay? I definitely wouldn't be fitting just one. If your insistant, wait until you get the second one.

Calm down. You only posted the question 5 hours ago! :tongue: I dont know about that brake kit, the caliper brackets look quite flimsy. If budget isnt a problem, look into one of the big brake kits that Dan @ DTA supplies. I fitted the kit to mine last summer and what a difference it made!

Well, I kept calling them up adding modifications onto the policy, so i never really noticed how much it went up by! To be fair, i dont really know what normal is. But i couldnt get anyone else to quote anywhere close to that. I think the next closest was about 1400 for the zed by itself!

Ive just got my car insurance renewal through this morning. I didn't realise but last year i was paying £290 a month to insure my zed, with the mods declared and my Pug 406 run-around. :nelson: Anyway, my renewal......£118 each month! :dance::nana2::dance: For being 23 with 3 years NCB, 6 points and a crash, every modification on the zed is declared. Im extremely happy......Well done Admiral :bow:
