  1. I know you are all proberbly fed up with this subject. But it is time to put the zed on the road and I am finding it really hard to find a company that will quote me on an import at all and thats before I tell them about the dr10. Have done a search and read lots of previous posts, rang suggested companies and most do not cover imports now. Can anyone who has just renewed insurance on an import, or is about to, suggest a company to try. regards kev
  2. Thanks for the picture and suggestions will look at the situation and see if I can find the leak now will post on here if I do then it may help someone else. Cheers
  3. oil leak from rear of engine. only happens when engine running not severe, several drips on floor after about 10 mins idleing. Looked down back of engine but cant seem to see where it might be coming from seems to be somewhere near to cylinder head area and running down the back. Has anyone had similar or got pictures of rear of engine to give me a clue as to where it may be coming from and if it is possible to correct with engine in place. :( :(

if you are talking about the fog light switch on the right hand bank of switces on the dash then that only works the front fog lights on a jap spec zed. The rear fog lights are on a seperate switch normally put under the dash at the right hand side. Jap spec does not have rear fogs as standard so are fitted so they will pass mot in this country.

If you place a trolley jack under the lower arm and jack it up it should compress the suspension enogh for you to get the top bolts ( or bottom bolts depending on which end you connect first) back in regards

the problem with two pack is it sets by use of a catalist, rather than the thinners evaporating. So it sets like epoxy resin so once it is set very little will remove it. On places like your petrol tank, if it is black you are better painting over the overspray with a satin black aerosol. On the crosmember etc you can use wire wool to get it off failing that paint stripper like nitromors. All I can say is there is no really easy way to remove it. Regards Kevin
