ok check put and cam shaft sensor today and all pluged in i have took one of the coil packs out and put in next to plenum to check spark there is no spark while car is turning over but there is one quite strong spark as you let go of the key any ideas thanks

thanks will try that tommorrow any thing else anyone can think of ie earth wires how many i also have a very thick wire running along the bulk head its yellow and black with to quite substantial brackets on the end like battery terminals any one know what this is and were it goes cause thats not connected yet would that stop it starting

i dont remember removing anything to do with the ecu unless there is something under the bonnet to do with the ecu is there if so where

also when i let the key go the electric fan comes on for a few seconds and there is also a funny clicking noise while turning over it a 300zx tt jap z32 1990 thanks

ok so i have just finished my engine rebuild engine was fully stripped out including everything out of the engine bay and now its all back in it wont start it will turn over but it wont fire can as many people possible throw ideas my way what would stop it fireing thanks we all want another zed ti live again we dont want to see another gone off the road LONG LIVE THE ZED :bow: :bow: :bow:

can some one post a list of all the torque settings of a 300zx tt engine like head, exhaust malinfold and the rest etc etc many thanks in advance lee :nana2:

Oxygen sensor removal tool, this is the one!
smash off the top and use an impact socket and strong rachet bar worked for me

hi there can you get to them if i took the starter off the side of the box or does it have to be thru the gap in the box at the bottom after engine is lifted slightly thanks lee i have a gap at the bottom of the box but its the top that is stuck lee :hyper:

i still need to no what torque converter bolts are what they look like and where they are aint got a clue were to look for these dont even know what they do :headvswal

having problems trying to get engine off auto box in car lifts so far with the hoist then stops lifting engine and starts lifting the whole car can anyone give me some pionters please what am i doing wrong thanks in advance p.s as many pointers as poss please :hyper: :bow:

but it dont tell you wat ones of the 3 littel pipe goes in what order or way round on to the turbos

yes it was mine had it on ebay then decided i couldnt sell it so kept and hear goes i sent the engine away to have the bottom end done cause im not good with bottom ends when i got it back i fitted new cambelt, headgasket, warter pump, auto tensioner,roller bearings and turbos alsoevery singel gasket on the engine is new from nissan sprayed littel bits up but not ott just recived polished plenum back today i repleaced all sensors all hoses all solinoids etc new downpipes made for new turbos (uprated ball bearing ones ) and then changed usual odds and sods like oil filter etc etc

a post for a problem with mates car
my mate was driving his zed last night noticed it was dry on oil he topped it up with some oil then drove 5 mile home he then brought some oil today but a different grade both suitable for turbo cars he then drove it and all of a sudden lost all pressure oil started leaking but only from the oil cooler area but dont thinks its the cooller then thick black and grey smoke from exhausts is this the turbos broken and a oil leak at the same time or is this a set of things that discribe something more please help P.S MY REBUILD IS ALMOST FINISHED YEAH :nana2:
