the 306 pugs suffer badly with the door looms cracking and breaking causing no windows, mirrors or locking/unlocking problems, plus the main loom that runs under the rad/front valance collects water and rots the wiring, which is not just limited to the 306 either, its a few models. other than that, they are not bad motors. i bought a 1997 406 1.9td as a runabout for £450. if id have had more time to look around then i would have got a nissan or toyota deisel.

yes, you can get off ebay, but have they been tried and tested by anyone ?. dont forget, these are the only thing that hold your rear wheels in place, so have to be right.

yes you did mate. that one was the one that come in the z when i bought it, and fitted a new ribbon in it ;) i have a sony recordable minidisc headunit in at the moment which ive had for years, and moved from car to car. have now got a carputer to fit when the car has been finished.
