  2. I just been through the same jaw dropping insurance quotes for my 18 year old, I went down the co-op route and at £850 per year is by far cheaper than any other quote but there is a draw back on your sons point of view. As part of the policy the co-op will fit a smart box to the car which monitors speed, braking, cornering and night driving which will reflect on your policy price if he drive like most teenager the policy price may go up but if he is sensible the policy price will come down. It gave me piece of mind that after he is out of sight he contines to drive safely as I can go online as see how his driving is. If you need any further information just drop us a line. My son is driving a 1.0 corsa which has an inherent problem with the timing chain as it wears the car sound like a diesel (rattle) I didn't notice on the test drive as it only started after about 30 mins of driving but it is now pretty much on start up. you apparently need a special vauxhall tool to carry out the repair (£400). Just keep your ears open. other than that the car has been great. Mike

  5. Had a similar expericene with a local independent Garage, Dropped my tuned Saab off in the morning for some minor work, whilst driving home for lunch in the missus STi saw a black saab heading the otherway and said to my wife that saabs giving it some, then heart in my month, F**K me that's mine, needless to say done a rapid U turn and chased the little pr**k back to the garage, as he was heading back to the office to hand the keys in with me hot on his heals, asked him if the car was fast enough for him and he said he was not going that fast and in front of his boss I said that I couldn't catch you in an STi so i think you are a lying Bar-steward. (still angry about it & that was 4 years ago) Got the work carried out for free, set for premium tyres at cost & the guy got the sack! I am now very picky who gets hold of my cars to carry work out, there is to many bad stories out there. Beware Mike

Genuine UK 60k miles auto red 1 previous owner totally original, Full Service History every year by nissan Timing belts done when they should be. Looks almost as good as it was when it left the showroom. Taxed & Tested. My only comment would be that it could do with 2 new rear exhausts.
